    Holograms on Mazda 3 paint

Hey Guys, Looking to do a two on a 2016 Mazda 3 Deep Blue Mica daily driver. It has complimentary dealer installed holograms. I have a few RIDS to spot compound out, the rest is all spider webs and holograms. I will be finishing up with Essence for the final polish and LSP for the durability and...

    First time with glazes

Prima Amigo. Easy to use on any paint. Think about it as cleansing polish with really good filling abilities. It will marry with 845 without any durability issues at all. It will darken your paint color slightly but it's not a deal breaker.

    Buff and Shine Uro-Fiber Pads

If your having problems with the starting to delaminate you are running them too hot. I've had mine for a while and probably have put 4 sessions on each and no problems. I just swap out every panel, check the temp while I'm polishing, use vented bp, and don't run full throttle, and no need for...

    Microfiber cleaner?

Microfiber has a high melting of 245 degrees so I don't think anyone runs a hot water heater that high.. I run mine at 117 degrees. My HE washer will also heat water to make it hotter based on the temp of the hot water coming in to the washer. I wash warm then 2 rinse cycles. Yes you can clean...

    ONR one bucket or two

Interesting blow dry then go back with a final wipe down. I finished a car and went back around and sprayed door jambs and crevices and wiped clean with a damp rag like you said. I always presoak. Spot soak if it's not to dirty but if it's bad it gets the whole car done.

    Best beading product?

It's nice to see the rain bead up on my car but as soon as the instant gratification wears off, I'm out there with my electric leaf blower getting that water off my car. No acidic rain for me man. I love 845, Prima Epic, Meg's Ultimate Detailer leaves some insane beading for an OTC QD products...

    ONR one bucket or two

With the few I have done. One bucket using GDWM with IUDJ and BF Rinsless Wash ( It was free.) I do keep a bucket with a gallon of water and a cup of APC and throw my spent towels in that so dirt does not have a chance to set in the fibers of the towels.

    Microfiber cleaner?

Some people would say it's hype. I disagree, I have major OCD about my MF being clean. Clean is subjective. Clean for me is spotless. So Tide Free and Clear will meet their definition of clean. The only OTC detergent I found that does a exceptional job at cleaning MF is Woolite it's also...

    How long to wait

I would just leave it until the warm weather. Use some a little Iron X to stomp any corrosion if your that concerned. Clean it up and put a sealant or wax on it. Then when you get time and good weather wax or seal it again. I would use some Collinite 845 or 476 tuff stuff for this weather.

How do I clean the underside of a vehicle?

+1. You need some muscle. You have enough room to roll your self under there spray it down give it a good scrub then pressure wash it off. I would grab some Optimum Power Clean. It's pricey but IMO it's the best APC out there. It's strong but it's one of the safest one's around. If you have a...

Looking for a quality drying towel

PFM is a great towel amazing towel. It's the MF weight and weave type that makes it great but not $35+ great. It's a twisted loop weave at a great gsm. I'm also betting the border is neither silk nor satin (these will push water away from the towel and not absorb it.) probably MF suede. For a...

    ONR perfect for MIchigan Winters

Right now my go to Infinite Use Detail Juice. I have not tried anything yet that's better. It does so many things really well. It may not be the cheapest but competitive price wise. I would say middle of the road price wise. It can be a substitute for quite a few products in a detailing arsenal...

    ONR perfect for MIchigan Winters

I'm a big presoak believer. Especially with road salt. Give those polymers time to work loosen and break down those salts. No matter how good the product is, your technique and equipment you are marring the paint to some degree. Is it going to look like you keyed your paint, no. You are wiping...

    Review of Packages and Pricing

I agree with AKT about exterior wipe down especially at your prices. Unless you are giving them a guarantee for lsp durability go polish right wax. 845 has quite a bit of solvents in it so it will help breakdown and some will remove with the final buff. If you were using a synthetic wax or...

Question about APC vs Degreaser vs Cleaner/Degreaser

I try to keep it as simple as possible. I prefer not have a ton of products around. My go to APC is Optimum Power Clean. Yes it's pricey and at 3:1 it's dilution ratio is not great but it's the sweet spot. Your looking at $ 2.00+ for every 32 ounce bottle. You get 16 bottles from each gallon...

Looking for a quality drying towel

+1 flood rinse, electric leaf blower then you only need a couple 16x16's towels to finish it up. I love that DIY set up for the flood rinse nice design. I just take my spray head off and be really careful not to love tap the paint.

    Matte White wrap

Tom, Chances are it's 3M. I would ask the client when they had the wrap done. It's been a good 7+ years since I was dealing with production and installs but at the time 3M had two warranties a 3 year and 7 year I believe. The other was how it was produced. If it was printed and had a matte lam...

    Micro Fiber Towels

I would buy best quality for the price. You can check Microfiber Tech and the Rag Company. The rag company makes cheaper versions of their high end towels at about half the cost. I have Eagle Edgeless and Minx Edgeless from the Rag Company and I can not tell the difference in softness, weight...
