I use gel tire dressings and found out that foam wax applicator pads work the best and are somewhat cheap.

Insurance will cover it, with a $250 deductable. Most of the damage is closer to the middle of the hood.

Anyone ever have to deal with hail damage? Can it be repaired by a paintless dent removal? I have NEVER dealt with hail until now. The hood of my daily driver took the most damage with about 10-12 dings.

As stated above, I'd leave them on. You'll only make a mess of things. Find a "Cool" sticker to cover them with.

Waste of money. I used to work for a dealership and had the lovely chore of applying this. Goes on just like wax. The warranty is what gets the customers to commit. Supposedly you are guaranteed against rock chips and paint damge. It sold for anywhere from $200 to $800.
