For mud, a pressure washer. For everything else, just brush them while dry if you don't have a pressure washer.

Yep, I sprayed water through the sprayer after and then just put the original top back on the cleaner leaving the sprayer out. The directions do say to rinse it thoroughly after use.

It's a coating, you shouldn't have to do anything special to maintain it. I had it on my car for 18 months (traded the car in) and it was still performing like new despite doing absolutely nothing special to it and leaving it caked in road salt for months.
