I agree, it can be done this way with dr, color chip. The trick is how much pressure you use with the cleaner solution to remove excess paint afterwards. The first couple times you'll press to hard and remove it all. Then you'll get the hang of it.

Polishing the glass with any fairly aggressive polish such as M105, Fixer, or many others will work on regular water spots. If the spots have etched into the glass get some CarPro Ceriglass.

After decontaminating your vehicle be sure to carefully apply some rust conversion product to the areas that are bare metal, then clean it off thoroughly after it does its work and finally clean with paint prep before adding touch up paint. Otherwise the rust will reform within hours or days.

You got it! On some smooth plastics when you apply the UTTG it doesn't like to look even on it's own on some smooth plastics so may need a little help. If it is non porous material then wipe it on, leave it 10 - 20 minutes and wipe it off. Depending on plastic you may vary your method some...
