Customer asked for a quote on a hand wash and wax (Claying if needed) - how should I respond to the following?

You don't want to lose any business. Just do maintenance washes on her truck all winter. If she doesn't care about rough paint, don't worry about. Just keep the truck washed and salt removed from the paint and under carriage all winter

    Rinseless Wash BETA Testers Needed

I'm not sure I would be able to test it out. I only washed 156 cars last month

    ONR added to bucket wash?

If you just need more lubricity you could just pour an ounce of ONR and an ounce of car soap in a 36 oz bottle and fill with water. Then spray on each panel while washing

    Soap vs rinseless

I did a waterless wash on my wife's Nissan Xterra (100,000 miles) last night at 2am. I do have problems with dew on the hood but the paint looks ok the next day when it is dry. The vehicle gets a Rinseless Wash or a Waterless almost every night so it is always clean. Rinseless and Waterless...

    What are you listening to...?

I listen to Rush Limbaugh during the day while washing dealer lots and Red Eye Radio after 1am washing the personal cars "Always wash your car after 1am with minimal light"

    Soap vs rinseless

I agree that washing your personal cars 4 days a week sounds obsessed but I hand wash so many cars per week (around 50) that washing the personal cars is easy. I said 4 days a week but it's usually more often (usually every day). I also wash them in the dark in the driveway with minimal light...

    Question for detailing business owners

Here is my opinion on the best way to start a detailing business. Purchase some ONR, 50 microfiber towels, and a garden pump sprayer. Fill the sprayer with ONR solution at 256:1 and spray a panel and start wiping and drying each panel till the car is done.

Suggested Exterior ONLY Price to charge?

I would charge $30 and here is what I would do *ONRww in a Home Depot gallon pump sprayer used as Waterless Wash (one microfiber to wash and one to dry) *While the panel is still wet I would use Meguiars D156 as a drying aid and it waxes the vehicle as you dry *Clean wheels and tires with a...

    No Shade For Car Washing

I Rinseless Wash customers cars in business parking lots in 90 degree heat on a sunny day with no problem using Meguiars D114. I just pre soak the panel with D114 in a spray bottle and then wash with D114 solution using a wash mitt (1oz to 2 gallons of water). I dry with a damp rung out 16 x 16...

Opinions on basic car detailing pkg

If you have 12 people waiting to get their car cleaned it would be good to speed up the process. I would charge $30 for cars and $50 for full size trucks. I would Rinseless Wash and dry the vehicle, clean the wheels, tires and wheel wells. Dress the tires, Spray Wax the car and you will be done...

    Soap vs rinseless

I hand washed over 100 cars in the last three weeks and washed every car with car soap using the two bucket method and a Synthetic Sheepskin Wash Mitt. The cars were all dried with a Water Sprite Chamois using ONRww as a drying aid from a pump sprayer. On my personal vehicles I rarely wash with...

    ONR Before LSP

If you rinse afterwards you will never have to worry about rubbing leftover dirt into the paint. It would have to be safer. After you rinse just spray ONR on the paint from a pump sprayer as a drying aid and you will be fine. If I was going to go to the trouble of pulling out 2 buckets and a...

Two bucket wash with microfiber towels?

I wash dealer lots and I have tried using microfiber towels with soap and it works ok but I prefer the Synthetic Sheepskin Wash Pad. The synthetic wash pad glides across the paint better and holds more suds in my opinion http://www.autogeek.net/sheepskin-wash-pad.html
