I've never heard of the flex having any problems eating backing plates.

If your not going to get tea flex get the gg6 its got the most power out of the regular DA's and its got a lifetime warrenty ands the same price.

I had a gg6 and just sold it and bought the flex. I've only been doing this for a yr and just for family and friends and wish I would of bought the flex first I would of been money ahead. I say don't waste extra $ and just get the flex right away.

I also have a full bottle of the 3.0 and like the bfwd a lot better. A lot slicker and soft, easier to take off and I like the look better. I never put anything beside carnival wax on my Chevelle until I tried bfwd now that's all I'm going to use. I am going to try Max wax or souvern on top.

Just got done doing my wifes buick and she felt it and she even thought it was so soft and smooth.

I just did a polish on my wifes buick and i liked the 6.5 pads better then the 5.5. THe smaller ones seemed to walk more and required more work and i got more tired using them.

Yeah i'm being careful i just want to see what pad i like better. I'm not using the 5.5 pad on it if theres a chance i could contact the paint on a tight area.

I just did my hood and trunk with the BFWD and i put it on with my flex and let it sit for about a hr and came back and it wiped off smoother then anything. ITs so slick and the shine is great.
