    Vacuum advice

Thanks for all the good info. I'm definitely going to take a closer look at this model. I did find something that may be interesting to you. I looked at the instruction manual for this and it supposedly has two accessory hooks on the back of the handle. Check out page 8 of this pdf...

Questions about power washers and attachments

Here it is. You'll see the picture that shows the 1/4" male NPT connector (the silver one in the picture). That is the same as the brass one in the "Quick Connect Coupler Set" link above. http://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/off-topic/88681-fitting-greenworks.html#post1214873

Questions about power washers and attachments

Yessir, I did. I attached the pipe to the trigger, then attached the quick-connect coupler to the other end of the pipe. This way, you can quick connect a spray nozzle or the cannon. The male quick-connect screws into the cannon. I used teflon tape on all of these threaded connections...

Questions about power washers and attachments

I built mine. Here's what I did: Here is the trigger I bought. Then I put a short piece of brass pipe on it so it is only 5" or so from the start to the tip. I didn't like using a full wand. My Spray Trigger Pipe The little brass extension I used I would get a spray trigger that is...

    Vacuum advice

Now this one is interesting. I like that it has a 7ft hose, although to use it with the little extractor attachment, I'd have to use a reducer (1 7/8" to 1 1/4", like one in this kit). Not a big deal, though. I also like the size of it. If this one is easy to empty and clean out after an...

1999 Honda Civic EX - dirty & dead - the journal

I completed the headlight restoration as the first project on the Civic. I used the 3M kit, #39045. This is the full kit as it contained: Backing plate for the dril 500 grit 800 grit 3000 grit Compound Synthetic wax I must say, this kit is fantastic. I followed the directions and I got...

1999 Honda Civic EX - dirty & dead - the journal

*We deleted the original thread titled "Back from the Dead - 1999 Honda Civic EX" due to the location of the photo links. My photos needed to be moved, so I've started over with a new thread. I apologize for losing the responses that were posted so far.* My buddy was given this car, a 1999...

    Chemical guys cleaner questions???

I recently purchased the CG Nonsense. I have two dilutions: 20:1 and 10:1. I've used the 20:1 on multiple occasions for interior cleaning and really like it. It isn't COMPLETELY odorless. It has a slight odor, but it isn't offensive and it is only when sprayed. Once it is wiped, the smell...

    Vacuum advice

You are welcome! I picked up this little shopvac today and used it with a Bissell extractor tool to clean my cloth seats. It worked very well! The vacuum is small and lightweight, although I wish the hose was a little longer. It is 4' long. I had to keep it right next to the car in order to...

    Vacuum advice

Since you're currently using your home vacuum, I'd suggest getting something like this. It is small, easy to handle, hangs one the wall, and will definitely handle the small jobs. Shop Shop-Vac 2.5-Gallon 2.5-Peak HP Shop Vacuum at Lowes.com= I have a larger shopvac that I use, but I also...

    Foam Cannon

I have the MTM Hydro specifically for electric pressure washers. The model number is 14.0349. This is the only one I've owned, although I have used the one made for gas pressure washers (but on an electric). I have it mated to a 1500psi 1.3gpm unit. I like it a lot!

    which fitting greenworks?

I'm almost certain that you want 1/4", not 3/8". All of the spray tips and nozzles are 1/4" and you want to be able to disconnect the cannon and connect a spray tip. Why would you want threads on both ends? Only one end needs threads...to screw into the cannon. Use Teflon tape to prevent...

    which fitting greenworks?

Any big box home improvement store should have what you need, which is a 1/4 in. Male to NPT Connector. It looks like the silver one in this pic. I have the 1500 psi Greenworks machine, too. It should have the female quick connector on the end of the wand (unless you got one of the oddball ones...
