    Bentley Mulsanne Le Mans

This is #17 of 42. I debated whether to take this car in. You can't see it in these pictures but the paint is in rough shape. I've already spent 13 hours on the interior. Swissvax Leather Cleaner, Swissvax Leather Conditioner, Swissvax Wood Polish, etc. I'll post some pictures of the...

How To Use the Dupray Hill Injection Steam Cleaner

I love my steamer but it's no where near this fancy. Did you really need to use the phrase "body oils"? Ewwwww!

Has anyone tried 22ple VX1 Pro Glass Coating?

22PLE and Migliore Strata are the best looking and easiest to apply coatings I've ever used. :dblthumb2:

FG400 wow. Should have bought this 1st

I've only used it on Meg's and Rupes microfiber pads, and Rupes blue foam pads. No dusting. Interesting. You may not have primed the pad enough?

FG400 wow. Should have bought this 1st

FG400 works great on really hard paint (like your Corvette). Pair it with Meg's or Rupes microfiber pads.

    Hydrofluoric Acid to clean wheels?

Re: Hydrofluroic acid to clean wheels?!? Extremely dangerous and toxic substance. Stay away.

Lexus LS460L extensive paint correction, interior and wheel recondition and coating

This has to be my favorite Lexus of all. OMG that interior was just thrashed!

Pro Detailer wanted in Montgomery, Alabama

No worries. I apologize that I am booked so far in advance. I was concerned when the post said "This person must have a positive posting history". I get a little riled up on the forum sometimes :)

Pro Detailer wanted in Montgomery, Alabama

Birmingham is about 80 miles from Montgomery. I lived in Montgomery for 16 years. I am currently booked with a private client though August 17 but I'll be glad to look at the car and put it on the waiting list. How does that sound?

    Protecting yourself -physically

An old buddy of mine does Bio/Hazmat work for insurance companies. Sporocidin is the chemical of choice here. Parvo, AIDS, black mold, you name it, it's "Roundup" dead. Kind of like Microban only way stronger. And, it's relatively safe to use.

    Protecting yourself -physically

This exact same thing happened to me. I will no longer work on vehicles that are contaminated (if you know what I mean). My wife is a doctor and said this can be very unsafe unless you use a respirator. Which makes sense. Steamed/Vaporized crap anyone?

85 Rolls Royce Cornice and 95 Mazda Miata (single stage paints)

That is probably my favorite Rolls of all. Just beautiful. That red looks just great.

    Honda S2000 Firecracker Red

This paint was in seriously bad shape. Ultra-soft-razor-thin paint and tinted clear coat...not a bowl of cherries to work on but I think it turned out nice. Took pictures at different times of the day for fun. Cheers :xyxthumbs:

    Type II Water spot help

You can wet sand with a PC7424XP but I wouldn't recommend it for this. GG 3" is superb for "spot" wet sanding and in small spaces. It is also very forgiving for beginners. As I said before, use Trizact 5000 on speed 3, maybe 4, no more. If that doesn't work use 3000 then 5000. (On this...

Favorite AIO/polish for easy hand application?

Do not use these products with a machine. By hand only. #1. Swissvax Cleaner Fluid Regular. Not a particularly user friendly product but definitely the best. I use it exclusively for delicate paints and to prep paint for wax. $165 per liter. #2. Auto Finesse Tripple. The best AIO I've...

    I need help please

The clear coat over these stickers is as thin as the air you breathe. Either tape the sticker with painters tape or remove the sticker with a heat gun and replace it. Motorcycle folks (myself included) tend to be really funny about decals and such.

    Type II Water spot help

Nothing wrong with Car Pro Spotless, it certainly works, I'm just not into the "acid" part. That's just how I roll. Wet sand this with Trizact 5000. If that doesn't work try 3000 then finish back with 5000. Polish back to gloss with whatever you like. It might take 30 minutes.

    3M Trizact 6000

Google "3m trizact 6000" there are some discussions and videos. I use 5000 all the time. A friend of mine also referred me to a company called "Micro-Mesh" that makes papers to 12,000 grit. Are these for paints or just woods? Let me know.
