The directions say to mask off wheel weights when using on rims. I've been doing it this way, but wonder if I'm wasting my time. Does anybody else tape off the wheel weights?

Kurt, I know of the perfect brush for you. Raceglaze makes a wheel brush that is long, thin, and flat. I have one and it's great. It's soft and it can get into tight spaces that other brushes can't.

I was just thinking about this the other day. I used it straight on one tire and then 3:1 on another tire, and couldn't believe how much more effective it is when undiluted. Using 3:1 it took 2 applications to look close to as clean as the results i got from 1 application of straight OPC

So you're able to get those dramatic turnarounds in the interior with a soft brush like that? Do you spray the seats with OPC or do you spray it onto the brush and then agitate? I find your write-ups to be very entertaining and inspiring by the way

So as far as applying to fabrics goes, would spreading the UIGP around with nitrile gloves work better than using a towel? I would think the towel would absorb some of the product. Thoughts?

I don't think you should beat yourself up over that car. You did a lot with what you were given. You should feel good about those results. That E34 looks great now

I've been thinking about the concept of not wiping off the poli-seal. The part I can't get past is how do you know if the defects are really gone and not just covered by the product's residue? Also, would this affect the bonding of any lsp that you would put over it?

Ever since I started using ONR, I realized suds aren't really that important. Getting the right dilution mixed is most important and then any suds that come after that are good enough

Thanks for the tip Chris. Yeah, I think what happened was that I was using it more like a traditional polish so I was probably spending too much time with it. I will give it another shot and see what happens. Bill, did you really not wipe it off and have no issues with that?

I haven't had the same kind of luck with poliseal, unfortunately. For me, my other AIO's, DG 501 and KAIO have been easier to use. I use a Flex and the tangerine hydrotech pads as well, but on some panels I've gotten the tiger stripe effect and it's a bear to wipe those off. It's also dusted...
