I bought a pair of buff and shine microfiber pads a year or two ago. They did Not have a hole in the center. Wish they did cause it would make it a lot easier to center on my backing plate. Guess they updated the pads at some point?

Personally I wouldn't use it. I scratched a bunch of chrome on my Harley when I first used it. Might have been poor technique on my end but this stuff is certainly more aggressive then you need. If your chrome is already in good shape I would just clean it up and throw a layer of wax or sealant...
