Sounds like it might be too late but be careful too. Try doing the passenger side first or better yet maybe a side window. That way if you don't get the results you're hoping for and the window gets jacked up at least you can still see where you're going.
You're gonna need a lot more than 5-6 passes on glass!
Swanicyouth has an awesome write up on ceriglass and the rayon pads. See if you can dig that thread up. Tons of good info in there.
Hopefully I can use this thread as an entry. It's not a review but a step by step, how to guide on how to make your very own horse hair steam cleaning attachment. And not to toot my own horn .. but I must say it's the most in depth, comprehensive thread I've ever came across on this subject...
At this point don't even worry about it man. Just run with it.
Think you should just start one thread with all your pics. You can call it "Supercarguy is turning the detailing world upside down!"
:D
Thanks for the responses everyone. That's pretty much all I did. Just let it soak in my ONR bucket for a few hours than ran some tap water over it. Seemed to do a good enough job cleaning in between the grooves but there was some light staining below the surface that I noticed. Guess I won't...
Guess no one has really tried it. Could always do a test spot somewhere and see if you like the look and feel.
I know a lot of people, myself included, use CarPro PERL on tires and interiors with great results.
Hi guys sorry for the hijack ...
Just wondering how you clean your Big Red Sponge in between washes.
Is it machine washable or should I just spray it with a little APC or pad cleaner?
Do you have any more of the old bottle left?
Not sure if it goes bad or not but I do know that you're not gonna see any color change on a black vehicle.
Maybe just do a quick test spot on one of your wheels. Or maybe do a spray on a random white vehicle in a parking lot, lol
Looking for a sample of autofinesse Avalanche and also looking for a big red sponge to do ONR washes with.
Pm me if you have either and are looking to do a trade. Just give me an idea of what you're looking for and I'm sure we can work something out.
