    Best 2/3 Step Polishing Products

i have use FG400/SF4000 a lot in the past, it's a great combo. HDcut/HDpolish is a good combo, IMO HDpolish seems to finish out faster than SF4000. for pads i recommend a MF cutting pad (Meguiar's, Griot's...) for polishing the LC ThinPro Pads are nice, i'd get Orange, White and Black. the...

    removing leather dressing?

After many attempts I was finally able to get the dressing to lift from the leather dash. After using various leather cleaners, mild APC, and rinsless wash, Carpro Inside works. I applied to a damp MF towel and rubbed on the affected areas then wiped with a second damp MF towel and dried with a...

PADS: Is there really a discernible difference between Rupes WHITE and YELLOW finishing ability?

i had to bust out the white pads last night. i was doing an AIO on a black Bentley and the yellow pad just would finish out right, hit it with the white pad to get rid of the slight about of haze left by the yellow pad.

PADS: Is there really a discernible difference between Rupes WHITE and YELLOW finishing ability?

the Rupes yellow pad is my go to polishing pad. there have only been 2 or 3 times that i could not get a perfect finish with the yellow pad. IMO the white pad is too soft to provide a good cut when polishing, but it will finish better on very soft paint like Porsche and Ferrari blacks

Griots VS Adams Polishes // AND SPEED SHINE QUESTION

it you are talking just quick detailers i like the Adam's over Griots. both are really good, but i like the feel of the Adam's better. i use Adam's products for most of my maintenance washes. to me their compound and polish fall short, they dry out too quick when using higher machine speeds...

    Wrap for my van

$3k for a custom printed wrap sounds about right, i helped with a $10k printed wraps on a sprinter van. as GSXR said, keep it simple, the easier it is to read the more people will read it!

Disappointed in Rupes pads- input needed please

that's crazy! i use the Rupes yellow and white pads constantly. i've had 2 yellows come apart, but that was my fault i over heated the pads too many times. i'm not a fan of the open cell foam on the blue and green pads, they sling alot and never feel right. i just started using the LC...

What are the REAL benefits of a long throw polisher?

i had a hard time justifying the high price untill i bit the bullet and bought a Rupes 15. it's worth every penny, i can now polish cars faster with less effort. not even a year latter i have invested in a Rupes 21 and a 75e. you can look into the Rupes Duetto, all of the Rupes quality at a...

What is the most cost effective wheel cleaner

Meguiar's mirror bright wheels cleaner seems to be a cost affective product. i was in a pinch once and had to grab a wheel cleaner at the store. Meguiar's was half the cost of the Griot's product for the same size, and it worked fairly well.

    Microfiber Pad Recommendation

exactly. to me the fiber on the Groit's pads are better, it doen't mat down as fast and it cleans up really easy.

    Microfiber Pad Recommendation

i have been using Meguiar's MF cutting discs for years. i tried the Griot's FAST mf cutting disc and might be retiring the Meguiar's pads.
