hi nick, i work in a shop with a wrap company. i detail all of their vehicles before delivering to the customer. i am very interested in a matte detail spray for testing. i see 3-5 matte and satin wrapped vehicles a week.

i had to bust out the white pads last night. i was doing an AIO on a black Bentley and the yellow pad just would finish out right, hit it with the white pad to get rid of the slight about of haze left by the yellow pad.

the Rupes yellow pad is my go to polishing pad. there have only been 2 or 3 times that i could not get a perfect finish with the yellow pad. IMO the white pad is too soft to provide a good cut when polishing, but it will finish better on very soft paint like Porsche and Ferrari blacks

it you are talking just quick detailers i like the Adam's over Griots. both are really good, but i like the feel of the Adam's better. i use Adam's products for most of my maintenance washes. to me their compound and polish fall short, they dry out too quick when using higher machine speeds...

Meguiar's mirror bright wheels cleaner seems to be a cost affective product. i was in a pinch once and had to grab a wheel cleaner at the store. Meguiar's was half the cost of the Griot's product for the same size, and it worked fairly well.

exactly. to me the fiber on the Groit's pads are better, it doen't mat down as fast and it cleans up really easy.

i have been using Meguiar's MF cutting discs for years. i tried the Griot's FAST mf cutting disc and might be retiring the Meguiar's pads.
