Bad Yelp Review? Use it to your advantage

How I made money from a bad yelp review. First off this bad review wasn't from a customer but someone who was "bothering me" as I was working on a $600 job. Why I was "in the area": I normally don't work in the area I was in or in apartment complexes, just not my clientele and that review...

    newbie needs advice

Your really asking "How can I become a detailer overnight?" If you get a machine and you don't know how to use it. Please don't practice on your new car. Get a hood from the junk yard and practice there. In the mean time go to a "Pep boys" type of place and get anything that Meguiar's makes...

Importance of the word 'detailing' in a business name

I put it in my name because I'm surrounded by "Car Washers" I'm a high quality paint correction specialist, NOT A CAR WASHER! Detailing By M is plastered all over my stuff so people can tell that I'm not a car washer. I get huge compliments on my branding and allot of people come to me...

    Power Washer with ONR solution

Sure why not. I'll wash then use ONR works great. But putting it in a presser washer soap container or in a foam gun might work. But your going to use more ONR then is recommended so you'll have different results then how ONR was intended to finish. I'll try it in my foam cannon when I get a...

Washing Car in Cloudy Damp Weather

two hours to just wash? Is this due to the damp air? I shouldn't take but 30 mins to rinseless wash a car. You have to deal with the humidity and use more towels when you dry so you don't have any leftovers. But if you do then just hit them with some detail spray. I love the "car wash" bays...

    Pet Hair

The "pet rock" works but it will scratch and damage anything but carpet, it touches. I recently switched to a thin stainless steel wire brush and I'm getting better results.

Removing concrete (cement) from car paint

Backset is my goto product and it works great! You use a foam sprayer on dry concrete, let is set for 15 mins, powerwash off and DONE! Also Dr. Beasley has something too and a plain white sugar past will work too.

    Blog on your site?

I've been wrestling with this blog thing for awhile now and when I went to put it on my site it was a nightmare. I then started to think about why I was doing it and honestly I only wanted a gallery so that's real easy to put on a site and that's the direction I'm going in now.

    Reselling products to enthusiasts...

That's never worked for me or a lot of others. I hate "car guys" the last one screwed me out of $400 bucks!
