DG Aquawax. Not only is it my favourite spray wax, it's one of my favourite detailing products period. Crazy easy to use, smells great, looks great, inexpensive. Wash with DG 901, rinse, spray AquaWax, dry with a Guzzler, admire shiny car. :cruisin:
AG is a great company. I'm a customer of their Canadian distributor eShine and haven't had any complaints with either.
Since someone has to say it, there are some lovely ladies at AG. :coolgleam: Be nice to 'em boys. :work:
Agreed with Blackfire Wet Diamond (so nice to be able to talk about the stuff now that AG stocks it!). Great looks, really slick, extremely easy to apply and wipe off.
Only product I've used that I was disappointed with is Meg's Ultimate Quik Detailer. I find it to be very grabby, difficult to spread around and it bunches up all the MF towels that I use with it. I like Meg's original Quik Detailer and ONR QD strength for when I want to remove a little bit of...
Comparing 845 to Blackfire Wet Diamond is like choosing chocolate ice cream or vanilla ice cream - either way, you're going to be very happy. :D
Collinite #845 is nearly indestructible. Put two coats of the stuff on your car and it'll survive the Apocalypse without a scratch on it. I applied a...
Whew, it's been a long winter in Eastern Ontario and my family's stable of cars need some work done. I haven't logged into AG for a few months, but when I did I saw that Optimum has microfiber pads. Sweeeeeet! :buffing:
I have an '02 Accent that I did a full correction on last year and...
Collinite 845 is a wax that acts as a sealant. It says right on the bottle that it's used on power lines, so protecting the exterior of wheels shouldn't be a problem.
I disagree with ONR. I've used it QD strength as a clay lube on a black Cobalt in direct sunlight and it evaporated as soon as it hit the paint. While I can't recommend what to use, I can tell you that ONR as a QD isn't the best choice on hot black paint.
Well Nick, you just opened a can of worms with that one. Since you're asking what products we'd like to see that were formerly sold by PAC, can you add Blackfire Wet Diamond and Blackfire Midnight Sun?
Too bad they're not accepting international orders. :( On the bright side, as someone else stated, could this mean Autogeek will FINALLY start carrying Blackfire?
Save yourself some bucks and use what's left of your BFWD. I highly doubt any other sealant you haven't used will look as good or be as easy to apply as BFWD.
Not all waxes are the same. There are high end "boutique" carnauba waxes like Wolfgang Fuzion, Pinnacle Souveran and the Dodo Juice line that look great but protect only for a month or so. They exist for the enthusiast who enjoys spending time playing with different waxes and taking care of...
:iagree: I've topped PoliSeal with Collinite 845 and Blackfire Wet Diamond with zero problems. I'm working on my brother's friend's black 2007 Chevy Cobalt SS, doing a little bit at a time when our schedules match up. The wheels are stock and have a clearcoat, so I gave them a little TLC with...
Canada has two national chains that destroy McD's and Burger King, although I can't compare them to In-N-Out because they don't have any up here.
Harvey's - Regular burgers are only so-so, but the Great Canadian is the best fast food burger I've ever tasted. What's cool about Harvey's is that...
I could only imagine the story Ed had to tell the missus when he got home:
"Yeah honey, I went to the auto parts store and received a text message. Turns out a beautiful woman from one of the forums I chat on made a surprise visit and told me to meet her in the parking lot."
PoliSeal's incredible stuff. Although it's classified as an AIO, my favourite use for it is as a finish polish after polishing but before applying the LSP. I use a black 5.5" LC flat pad with the PC on speed 4 and it makes a noticeable difference in the gloss.
Collinite 845, PC7424, the entire Optimum line - found out about all of these essentials here.
Taping - 15 minutes of prevention vs. 150 minutes of cure.
4" pads - Love love love these little workhorses.
