I'm not BobbyG, but I can answer your question - the black CCS pad is fine. Last November I put a coat of 845 on my car using that pad and after 4 1/2 months of snow, rain, freezing rain, salt and sand I can confirm that the 845 is still beading water. 845 is like liquid body armor.

Love UP on the plastic windshield cowling and on the textured black plastic side mirrors on my Hyundai. Apply a small amount to a foam pad and work the product in, similar to applying a cleaner/wax to paint by hand. Buff with a microfiber and you're good to go.

Looks like I'll have to try DG 901. Up here in Canadialand Meg's Gold Class sells for $20 for 64 oz. I can get the same amount of 901 for $14.99. Has anyone tried adding some ONR to 901 to add cleaning ability and lubricity?
