    ONR Technique Question

Hail Lords of Polish and Wax! Show mercy to this poor n00b. I am a recent ONR convert. I just wish I had discovered it before I bought a gallon of BFWD Conditioning Shampoo. My question is, do you wring out the MF towel after you soak it in the ONR and before you put it on the paint? It seems...

    MF drying question before washing??

I have a mesh laundry bag that I put mine in until I have enough to run a load in the wash. I wring them out as well as I can and then put them in the bag and hang that off the wall. They never sit there for more than a few days and I haven't had any issues with them getting moldy.

    Drying MF towels your thoughts??

I put mine in a mesh laundry bag and hang that in the garage until I have enough to run a load in the wash. They are still damp, but dry better than in a bucket.

Reapply paint protection after bird droppings?

Thanks All. I would leave it in the garage, but it seems silly to keep all those horses pinned up when they want so badly to run. Taking your advice, I put a coat of wax on the affected panels. I'll need to get some polymer spray, as I don't have any. Thanks again. Unrelated: Do I need to...

Reapply paint protection after bird droppings?

Freakin' birds! Half my roof was covered in bird crap when I left work today. When I got home a sprayed with some QD, let it soak for a minutes and then wiped it off with a wash mitt and ONR. My question is, should I reapply paint protection? I clayed, polished, sealed and waxed about 3 weeks...

Blackfire Wet Diamond Paint Protection Question

Deldran, the instructions suggest letting it cure for 8 hours between coats or before topping, so that's what I did and I think it worked well. 2 oz should be more than enough for a couple coats on one car.

    Protecting Spray-in Bedliners

Yes, I realize it seems odd to protect the protection. Where does it end? My main concern is the black area around the bottom of the truck. That is Speedliner that I had sprayed on by a local body shop. They have a nice sheen to them when they are new, but are vulnerable to UV fade. So, my...

    Protecting Spray-in Bedliners

Merry Christmas Geeks, I saw a thread recently about applying a sealant or glaze to Rhino truck bed liners. However, I can't seem to find it. So, my question is what is a good product to put down on a bed liner to protect it. I want it to keep its sheen, but not be slippery, as I walk on it and...

Thanks. What did you end up doing to correct the marring?

    Nanoskin Autoscrub Wash Mitt...

How does this compare to the Speedy Surface Prep Towel? I realize that the Speedy Surface Prep Towel is used in a similar fashion to a clay bar. Would you use this with a clay lubricant like the Speedy Prep Towel or only with the Nanoskin Bubble Bath Wash & Shine? Thanks, N00b

    Most regretted detailing product purchase

So far my only regret is buying a gallon of BFWD Conditioning Shampoo before I discovered ONR. The shampoo is fine. In the warm months I like to use it with one ounce of ONR in the mix. But, ONR is so much easier, I don't use much BFWD Shampoo anymore.

I'm not usually a truck guy, but this one sure did change my mind for a day or so.

Those Raptors are really amazing trucks. You really made that black paint shine. Thanks for sharing.

    Ultimate Detailing List of Supplies

It would seem that I need to take out a loan. Maybe I'll sell one of my cars to pay for all of the tools to clean the other one. :)

need some help on blackfire products

not to much to add to what mwoolfso already said. I use BF on my cars and have been happy with it. If you follow BF's instructions and let the Wet Diamond cure for 8 hours and then top with two coats of Midnight Sun wax, it will really pop. I use the MSID once or twice per week on my DD to keep...

What to do....? Waterless wash and quick detailer.

I have been using ONR on my DD and I am happy with the results. I have searched over at the AG store but I can't seem to find ONR w/ Carnauba. Can anyone provide a link?

Blackfire Wet Diamond Paint Protection Question

Bob, I tried to snap a few pics but I have only my iPhone camera with me. I will try to grab some tomorrow while the sun is out to see what the people think. I must say that learning to properly care for auto paint has been more fun than I thought it would be.
