    Preserving "New" exterior Trim

I guess I left some of that out. During those years I did regular maintenance on the Paint and on the trim. On the wheels where I used DLUX I really liked it and since I could polish it off the paint and reapply it worked fine. But on the textured plastic trim even after doing a full...

    Preserving "New" exterior Trim

As a long term user of DLUX I will say early on I loved it. But after 4+ years on our personal Jetta the coating started to “silver”. By silvering I mean that it developed a silver tint to it in places like it was delaminating for the plastic, but I couldn’t remove it using clay, or polishing. I...

    Optimum Car Wax

I still use it on my Black truck that sits outside 24/7 that was coated 5+ years ago in an old Optimum Coating. Works perfectly for what I want it to do and is easy to re-apply monthly or bi-monthly. I bought a gallon of it and treat it like a drying step detail spray. works great for...

Road Salt Remover / Neutralizer ?

I have not used it yet. I am planning on trying it on my next wash. I like the idea of this type of mix and product so I don't have to pull out and use a pressure washer if I don't want to. I always use my PW outside so in the the cold I don't like using it due to the ice I create.

Road Salt Remover / Neutralizer ?

I know it’s an option but I’m not a big fan of using the pay and spray car wash. In the winter it’s far enough away that everything freezes on the way home after use and I dislike having to pay $2+ per use just to try and spray things down. Due to the crazy directions for use on Bilt-Hamber...

Road Salt Remover / Neutralizer ?

I have been around for quite awhile and one thing that I keep looking for and think that Autogeek is missing in their “Winter Car Care” section of their offerings is a Road Salt Remover / Neutralizer. Being in Ohio and dealing with road salt issues every winter has me looking for an option...

Easier Way Apply Dressing To Large Area

It’s not the flavor of the month so people seem to forget about it. But using OptiBond tire gel at 1:1 and the spray gun attachment would be the way to go. Optimum Spray Gun works with your air compressor to apply even coats of Opti-Bond Tire Gel, Optimum coverage using optimum air gun

Carpro Eraser vs Other Brand IPA

While I think many will tell you that most all of these Surface Prep products are the same and to use whatever you have and want; I have found that there is a difference in some being stronger, slicker, having other added prep bonding products built in, etc. Personally I have found the best...

    Gyeon Frothe or CarPro Reset

After going through bottles of both. Reset is better than Bathe. Similar cleaning but Reset is slicker in my use.

    ONR and 845

I haven’t used #845 in a while so I can’t comment on the current status. But I can confirm for the others / doubters that in the past ONR and #845 didn’t really play well together. ONR seems to really degrade the #845 protection to the point where when using #845 I would simply not use ONR...

    Duragloss Car Wash.

Really good car wash. Similar to optimum car wash and Hyperwash. Only issue I have with it is the cherry cough syrup scent.

Topper to add to 303 Graphene for slickness

That's fair. I just figure that If I need to apply something else on top of a "Spray wax" to get the slick finish on a weekly basis then I might as well use a more durable coating or sealant base layer and use a spray product that gives me the slick finish or gloss I am looking for. I...

Topper to add to 303 Graphene for slickness

If 303 Graphene doesn't give you the finish you are looking for "Why are you using it?" In my experience it doesn't make sense to use a product that doesn't do and work they way I want it to. There are so many options out there that I can find something that will. Especially for a "spray...

Klasse AIO and SG - Which pads to use? - First Post

I have actually watched and experienced my dad applying KSG by machine. He got it to the point where he could get the application so thin it almost disappeared into the paint. When it works its great but getting to that point takes a lot of elbow grease getting off the thicker spots.

Klasse AIO and SG - Which pads to use? - First Post

    1. Since the KAIO is a chemical cleaner with no real cut in itself I would suggest using the Orange Foam Correcting Pad or the Black Foam Finishing Pad. The Orange pad will add a little more "cut" and be a slightly more aggressive in the cleaning. The Black pad will be a lighter straight...

Coating experts: I need your opinions here

TBH: I was skeptical of a bad batch of Hyperwash based on the original posts. The fact that he is having the same issue with Griots soap says that there is something else going on. Based on the pictures posted above it possibly looks to me like poor wash techniques. I have seen this when...

    Paint cleaner before Klasse AIO

Noting that you again tried a Nano sponge to clay and it didn’t seem to make much of a difference. It might be crazy but you might want to pick up a Mother’s clay kit at the local auto parts store. While the clay blocks seems to work for quick use and production details I find the true clay bars...

    Paint cleaner before Klasse AIO

I saw that you used a Nano sponge to clay. It might be crazy but you might want to pick up a Mother’s clay kit at the local auto parts store. While the clay blocks seems to work for quick use and production details I find the true clay bars work better at removing contamination. You can use a...
