    Seal iphone5?

Not necessarily that it's pretty looking but that it is easily prone to cosmetic scratches. Especially the sleek black one. It's like a piece of coated aluminum and light scratches easily show the metal underneath. I have a cousin who hasn't even opened his yet while he waits for his otterbox...

    really autogeek.....

I live almost across the country from autogeek. I have never had to pay that much even for orders over $150+ etc. Where exactly do you live? And why blame Autogeek? If you can't afford the shipping buy from a local store or elsewhere. Or next time maybe foresee that you need extras and stock up...

    Autogeek Product Lines

I was waiting to see if anyone mentioned "that" product line... There's no chance Autogeek would ever carry 3D HD products. Though it's unanimous, almost all of us would like AG to get the word out to Wolf's Chemicals etc.

Ordering DA Polisher intimidated newbie needs advice on pads and products

Reliability is anecdotal however. I know and speak to many friends who use one for their professional details and they are now on their 3rd, 4th, 5th Griots polishers within a year or two. That's not to say that all GG polishers are bad. But the fact remains, that the Griots polisher is just a...

Ordering DA Polisher intimidated newbie needs advice on pads and products

There really is no problem with the PC. People all have different tastes or brand loyalties. Sure the Griots is more powerful, but the PC is no slouch either. Both polishers will get the job done. I own the griots myself. Not because of the power necessarily but because I got a great deal on...

Junkman's, The Mother of All "How to Fix Your Paint for Novices" Thread!

Meant no offense. Just noticed over the years on various forums that you heavily repped Adams. I believe you even handled a few of their detail sessions at a few shows. Plus I've seen a lot of your videos, as have many others and was just curious as to why Adam's wasnt used/mentioned. Thanks...

What Do You Love About AUTOGEEK????

Even though I am new, I was a "lurker" for a long time. I would say first and foremost, the selection at Autogeek is perhaps the best thing. Then comes their staff. People like Meghan :caflag:, Nick, Mike, Ray etc. They are always here to help in whatever capacity. Not only does Autogeek carry...

Ordering DA Polisher intimidated newbie needs advice on pads and products

Well the griots come with a standard 6" backing plate... you're going to want a 5" one anyways so that you can uses 5.5" pads safely. But back to the questions the OP actually asked... You are correct. You don't want to unnecessarily remove more clear or paint than you need to. You say the car...

Junkman's, The Mother of All "How to Fix Your Paint for Novices" Thread!

No Adam's products? I thought you were like their spokesman or something. Good videos though. Should help a lot of people especially since your earlier vids have been watched a lot.

Stopped into the local Griots Garage to pick something up to test today..

Really? I could never 'walk' away from a customer. I have had a few who walked away from me because I was a bit too eager to help :p Would you remember what part of the floor they worked for? At our store, the people who worked in 'media' were typically the unhelpful, only in it for the check...

Stopped into the local Griots Garage to pick something up to test today..

That's why I left... I genuinely had an interest in home theater. When I worked there, I knew almost every television, receiver, brand on the market. I knew what was coming, what was out there etc. Even though it's non-commission, they tried to hammer it into us to upsell product protection...

Can clay barring cause scratches on a new car?

Very few can clay an entire vehicles without inflicting some type of marring or fine scratches. It all depends on how careful you work, how much clay lube you use, grade of clay etc. The trick is to knead the clay often so you do not drag any stuck particles over. You'll also notice them more...

    water blade??

I don't use an unfiltered leaf blower. I use a master blaster and a guzzler towel most times... but I agree, the points made by people on each side of this thread are valid.

Thinking about ordering Chemical Guys Stripper Scent

There's a reason it's called stripper scent :xyxthumbs:... I like it, it has a nice vanilla, fruit and musk smell. Sort of like a musty cheap perfume but it doesn't last very long. Can't hurt to try some.

    (First Vehicle)Oxidized Toyota Pickup

Ah my mistake. But it's a great job and this only the beginning. Once others are you locally and see what kind of correction you can do, they'll come knocking. How long did the whole truck take you to do?

    Autogeek Product Lines

Yeah I think it is. But it's business and money talks. If Max and the folks at Autogeek believe that they could sell a lot of wolf's chemicals products and they want to stock it, they'll probably make an offer. PBMG and Autogeek are making all the right moves these days and growing bigger and...
