Review: Autogeek Knee N’ Back Pad

Thank you! Yes sir! Chains - weights - and a plow! My little tractor does a good job clearing the driveway. Yup yup. For weight I use two of John Deere's 42Lb Quick-Tatch weights (X4 if I really need to push a large amount of snow) . Much easier then wheel weights as they hang from the rear...

Review: Autogeek Knee N’ Back Pad

For this review, I’m going to highlight why I love AG’s Knee N’ Back pad. From AG’s product page: The Autogeek Knee N’ Back Pad was created as a solution to a very common detailer problem – sore, scraped, and aching knees. The closed cell, dense foam creates a comfortable cushion between...

    Lamborghini by Competition Ready!

Oh yeah Adam's been a car guy for a long time, but most of his car related shows never took off. For example he was a host for the US Top Gear pilot along with Tanner Foust. And then he had the short-lived "The Car Show" back in 2011.

    Lamborghini by Competition Ready!

Just saw this article posted over on Jalopnik about the very car collection our Competition Ready team tackled! This will help give you a sense of how amazingly rare those two Lamborghinis are: Adam Carolla Is Auctioning Off Some Of The Most Beautiful Lamborghinis Ever Made Background reading...

What is everyone's opinion on the Griots Garge products?

Good! Here's a kit to get started with: Griot’s Garage 6 inch Random Orbital Correct & Finish Combo LIMITED TIME ONLY! Stepping down to a 5" BP over the 6" BP that comes with the machine is a very wise move - it will allow you to use smaller (and thinner) 5.5" pads for faster correction...

How to convince a wife who has NO concept of the addiction that I need more stuff?

Tried that once. Her response: "I don't care"

How to convince a wife who has NO concept of the addiction that I need more stuff?

Mistake #1. Ha! There's no way to explain it to the wifey w/o getting into *some* sort of trouble. Now I get all of my small orders shipped to work and save the larger purchases for when i need to explain to her why I need xyz.

What is everyone's opinion on the Griots Garge products?

Ok good - now we're getting someplace! Do you own a DA Polisher? If not, do you have the budget for one? As mentioned before, GG 6" DA is a great machine and will help correct those swirls. If you don't have a DA or have a budget for one. Picking out products that will get you the best results...

What is everyone's opinion on the Griots Garge products?

Griots makes decent products. The vast majority of us own (and love) their 6" DA. Instead of posting a vague brand question, perhaps you could state what you've used from GG (if anything) vs what you're trying to accomplish? That way we'll be able to provide better suggestions, help you spend...

Thanks, Mike! What a great quote. And very true. Thank you, KWOLDIE! For lung protection I use a 3M paint protection respirator. Makes a huge difference when working with detailing chemicals and basic household projects like painting.
