    SunJoe SPX3000 longer hose?

it's not really a proprietary connector. It's just the European version which has a 1mm smaller bore but still M22 on the outside. Adaptors are not particularly difficult to source (MTMHydro, amazon, big auction site). The reel does work but as noted, it doesn't deal w/ the connectors well...

How to remove these stains from the rims?

How is this NOT the dealer's fault (and problem to fix)? They were the ones who used whatever god awful product which caused it. Yes, Guz meant hand polishing. The Poorboys 'sampler' has 4 small bottles of all their polishes.

Dirty Girl - Extreme Maserati Makeover!

You're correct. My mistake. >> I noticed that you basically only taped the sunroof and the side mirrors, why was that? <<

Dirty Girl - Extreme Maserati Makeover!

I think I'll stick w/ the cord vs. 6x $114 batteries (and the $500 for the new FLEX unit) Your mileage may vary.

    Waterless washing in garage messes

this is the exact item I got for my mid-size SUV, um, 7x19 I think but a pickup would require more, esp for front or rear overhang. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MYNP4HC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

    Makita P5000 DA discontinued?

Ah, yes. I found some old threads that indicated that it was a 'slow mover' at AG. Thanks for your response. FYI: Makita USA - Product Details -PO5000CX2

    Makita P5000 DA discontinued?

I bought a Makita P5000 a year or so ago and I'm surprised to see that it's been discontinued. Anyone know the backstory as to why?

    Waterless washing in garage messes

Best small pad for Gyeon PPF Renew?

I'm getting ready to do a car w/ a fair amount of PPF that is in good condition (circa 2012, sports car w/ low mileage) so it's in need of a cleaning. Plan is ultrafine/fine clay (Sonus SFX) w/ Immolube 1:8, clean/wipe and then apply the Gyeon PPFRenew. Question: Recommendation for a 3"...

Looking to move from gas to electric power washer…suggestions?

Ditto. Sunjoe 3100 (w/ takeup reel) and it requires an adaptor or 3 (see prior threads) since they use the M22-15 size connectors (European whereas Americans use M22-14 (or is it the other way around)). I got a smaller orifice from MTM and w/ 1.5-2oz of shampoo, it foams just fine (newer MTMs...

    Most regretted detailing product purchase

This year's winner for me (so far) are the screw-on blue funnels that AG has. Great idea but complete fail in execution. The funnel is way too small and there is no method to vent so it's painfully slow glugglug.

    Bug and Tar removal

My experience is like the others.... Tar-X is fantastic but for me, I can't stand the odor and it must be done outside (way worse for me than Iron-X) Tarminator and Gyeon TAR are 'just OK' and probably won't be a repeat purchase. Citrol is also fantastic. I haven't tried it on tar yet but...

    McKees N914

get yourself an inexpensive set of 'graduated cylinders' from Amazon or something. They often come 4-5 different sizes in a set. VERY handy to have. There are 30mL in a fluid ounce.

Need a deeper clean, just don't want to claybar

there are plenty of clay 'pads' or 'towels' on the market now. They are somewhat tacky rubber-y material that replaces traditional clay and are faster/easier.

    Opti-Clean issues

I got a bottle of Opti-Clean and have been using as directed on exteriors (1:3, distilled, reasonably clean vehicle, either heavy microfibre or 500 Eagles) but I seem to always end up w/ drying streaks or residue. I'd prefer not to have to go over it a 2nd time w/ just a slightly moist Eagle or...

Where can I order spray bottles with my shop name on the labels?

You could also just have vinyl labels made and you get to choose the bottle(s). I'd imagine the setup cost and minimum quantity would make custom printed bottles expensive but I haven't really looked.

    Bug removal

Meh. No better than average despite high cost. I bought some, am coming to the end of the bottle and have already moved on. I'll 4th Bug Squash. Also, try one of the yellow insect sponges or the Sonax Bug Sponge.

    Pneumatic Polishers

My initial hunch is that 99% of users don't have a sufficiently large compressor (and associated storage/'receiver' tank) to keep it spinning.
