might have actually lost it this time

OK, done. That is what I had read of the reviews as well. The only knock I really saw was that the newer Honda mowers won't allow the attachment for fine leaf shredding like the older mowers, I haven't researched that deeply into it though, as I never use the mower for that. I figure acorns...

might have actually lost it this time

LOL, I've also buffed the gel coat on our poured marble counter tops in the master bathroom and put Klasse on as well. It smelled terrible for about 24 hours in there. Wife wasn't too terribly thrilled then, either.

might have actually lost it this time

Well, my lawn mower of 7 years finally gave up the ghost this week. So I took advantage of a memorial day sale at a local Ma n' Pa hardware store and picked up this little beauty: That's a HPP216HVA, a push only mower made by Honda. it's got all the little bells and whistles of some of the...

Rinseless Washing Question - How Wet Are Your Towels?

Thoroughly saturated for me. It'll be dripping across my garage floor to get to the car. Too little liquid poses the greater risk, IMO.

How to get the metallic to sparkle?

Any product with glazes, fillers, etc. will mute the metallic flake. The oils used to fill in fine scratches and make the surface look smooth also darken the paint above the top surface and that also mutes the flake below the surface. Think of it as a "tint" of sorts. The refraction of light...

    Water spots on chrome

Flitz metal polish, find it locally at an Ace hardware. Very, very easy to rub on, and wipe off. A little bit goes a very long way. Leaves behind some protection too. Learned about that stuff from a biker. Most bikers might not know much about detailing, but they know chrome.

    Black Viper GTS Help!!!

Black light has some abrasives in it. I would have avoided that product once you got the finish done given the trouble you've had finishing up. One of their pure cream glazes like EZ Creme or glossworkz glaze would be better if you're set on a CG product.

Ultimate Wax (Liquid and Paste) don't like machine application ... for me

Interesting timing for this thread. The coating I have on my personal vehicle has begun to wear off the rear quarter panels, and I'm sure the rest will follow soon. I won't have time for a correction for a few more weeks, so I went through some old supplies to see what could get me a little...

New guy, need help with polishing spread out over a week or more

Do the car in stages, wash the whole thing every time. You'd be amazed at what you could accidentally rub against if only part of the car is clean. Clay only the panels you intend to buff out for time's sake. Wax the finished panels. When you get to the last panels, go over the entire car...

    Dog poop in the car

Most of the chemicals used to clean dog and cat urine are primarily Isopropyl Alcohol with an enzyme to break down the offending odor causing chemicals. This enzyme is usually only necessary if the substance is absorbent. I'd use isopropyl alcohol. Splash some 70% IPA on a paper towel...

    SunJoe SPX3000 longer hose?

So you're using it to dial back pressure some how to safely clean with higher powered machines. Given a low enough pressure at the wand handle, I suppose you could ball park a more safe PSI to wash at. Not a bad idea

    SunJoe SPX3000 longer hose?

Whats the point of the pressure gauge? Just curious as rated PSI for most machines is measured at the tip of the nozzles. Meaning, if you put the tip of the nozzle right on the surface to be cleaned, you'd get XXXX PSI of pressure. Compression is still happening in the lance and tip (at...

Which electric pressure washer? There should be a sticky

Of course I have, you don't really have a choice. I only posted my hypothesis for why they may include a plastic coupler. It could just as easily be that the manufacturers are cheapskates. By using metal though, you have an increased risk of snapping off the inlet port coupler should you...

Which electric pressure washer? There should be a sticky

Every electric I've looked at has a plastic coupler from the unit to garden hose. My guess was it was always manufactured that way to be a sacrificial part, so when the PW tumpts over, the fitting takes the blow instead of snapping off the metal neck, as those necks are almost always cast right...
