I think what OP is saying is, that he used ironX before removing klasse, so he's thinking, after using swirlX and IPA which stripped the klasse layer, he should've used ironX again in order to decontaminate bare paint before applying CQ!? And I've used ironX on multi layer sealed paint, still...

I once had a lady in a scooter rear end me at a red light!! I gave her a WTH expression with super angry look! and she wasn't even apologetic!! :bat: As soon as the light turned green I left her in a cloud of dust!! Fortunately, my rear license plate took all the damage and saved the paint!! :D

I agree! I too thought that since I'd be using a rotary polisher with dynabrade, it'll be comparable to flex 3401 when I'm compounding or finish polishing! But the pad still used to stop on curved surfaces and when under pressure(in DA mode), no matter how fast the rotary was going(rpm)! Now...

With a DA, I move 1 inch per second and do 6 section passes(count each of them) on one section! In an article, Mike has mentioned the speed to move the DA with, in inch per second!

On a fresh paint job, you cannot use any sealant or wax for at least 45 days!(I'd personally wait 2 months before thinking of sealing the paint) to allow the paint to outgas properly and cure! But you can use Megs #7 show car glaze or any other glaze which doesn't have a sealant in it in order...
