    Brand new car

Welcome to a wide world of info. I think the big thing will be the time that has gone by. Unless it is a really great dealership, I have an idea they are going to throw it back to you. With that being said, I grew up on a rotary. So when I was ready to move into a DA quite a few years later, I...

    P21s/Maguiar’s Ultimate Wax

I have and used both. But I have to agree with Bob, FinishKare is a very good product. Not knocking Meguairs Ultimate line. But we have 2 white cars and after the FinishKare cures for a couple of days it looks like a glass finish. M21/Ultimate does pretty good too, but I don't think it leave...

Finishing polish for daughter's new ride

Thanks. She's real excited. 20' Hyundai Venue. It's the sister to the Kia Soul She's an artist and needed a CUV/SUV of some kind. My Avatar is one of her older pieces.

Finishing polish for daughter's new ride

Thanks guys. I figured what I had would be no issue, but like I said after reading Mike's thread about a fine/finish polish, I just don't want to remove anymore then needed. I probably use just the paint cleaner on most of it. I thought about either the UK or Pinnacle, but I already have the...

Finishing polish for daughter's new ride

My daughter got her first new car and I was thinking about putting a coating on it, McKee's 37. After reading Mike's thread about the Porsche and always using a polish to clean and remove any marring from claying, if IGL F3 finishing polish would be the one or would there be another one. I know...

SONAX Glass Cleaner as a Prep Wash

So when you use it as a clay lube, do you use it at full strength? It makes one wonder what other products have multiple uses.

The OCD Method of Washing Microfiber Towels

The first guy on the list has a nice little collection. He even has the old washing powder boxes. But the one from Mike from Chester UK looks like a converted ice maker.

The Beast: Thoughts on old vs. new

Great, there were the rumors that Mike was hoarding and selling toilet paper on the black market during Covid-19, now he has started the "great Flex pandemic of 2020". Where will it end??????:poke::laughing::laughing:

The OCD Method of Washing Microfiber Towels

Wow, either that is a really old picture, or there's a very old green washing machine (to the right) still running in the world. :)

The OCD Method of Washing Microfiber Towels

The only real issue I have ever had was maybe during the first wash. After that I have not noticed any. And that includes the cheapy's I have gotten from Sam's Club or Meijer's for grunt work.

The Beast: Thoughts on old vs. new

That's what I kind of figured with the old having some metal to its build. So it seems pretty much I can't go wrong with either. I have seen the marine version for a few dollars cheaper, it's the old model rebranded. If I pull the trigger on one, I'm leaning towards the new model. Thanks...

The Beast: Thoughts on old vs. new

Thanks, I probably read it and forgot. I'll take a look at it. That's what I am is a weekend warrior, but I like my toys. But I have been taking care of 2 households for a few years helping out my elderly parents and haven't had much time to play with them.

The OCD Method of Washing Microfiber Towels

I completely agree. Our old Whirlpool bit the dust a few years back and the only true old style I could find was a SpeedQueen. They are not cheap compared to the generic vain/agitater machines, but it does the job very well. If I have to take something big to the laundry mat to wash, I'll...

The Beast: Thoughts on old vs. new

I was thinking about adding the Beast to my polisher collection. And I was wondering what are the main difference's in the old model vs. the new model. I know there is more plastic to the new one, but does that really matter? Spec wise it seems they are almost 1 for 1. Does the new one have a...

Sorry for the late reply. Thanks Mike for the video links, I'm sure this will be a big help. If you think of any more, just keep piling them up.
