Best products for new cars that go through automatic car washes frequently?

I would look into Duragloss 111/601 or Colinite 845. Both are fairly dummy proof. There is a sealant comparison thread on here by Rippy D where some other gentleman did a automatic car wash test of multiple products. I will search for sealant comparison. It’s a really long thread. But...

A little PNS experiment coming up

I’ve been using PNS for my winter protection for several years now. Stuff is bulletproof. I went to coating route and actually came back to PNS. It’s so versatile. Right now I have it over the DG 111 I had earlier this year. I did a somewhat of a strong wash to remove any traffic film and...

Entry level combo that's made me a ton of $$$

I think Cruz is really on to something. Here is a pic of the family members truck that came to visit after I I used this process with SG 501/601 wiped off with Sonax PNS While Cruz has had awesome success with the Essence/PNS combo, I am wondering what other combos may work. The DG 501...

Entry level combo that's made me a ton of $$$

I took a little slant on this combo. I had to get a family members truck done this weekend in only a couple hours. Did a quick RW. It was a white truck so I took DG 501/601 and went over the truck. Without wiping the 501 off I applied Sonax in the same method as originally described here by...

Anyone used DG 601 with other sealants other than DGs offerings?

So this has been debated before on here. I will try to find the thread. So in their description it says that it aids the bond of polymer sealants. I know for a fact it works really well on DG products. Would it work with other polymer products, possibly. But I’m not sure if it would be...

Mc Kess anti frost washer fluid.

Re: Mc Kees anti frost washer fluid. That is true. It’s not a concentrate in the sense you only need a couple ounces. You have to add like a quart at a time. But I only used half a bottle here in NC last year. Not sure how much you would half to use in colder climates. Sent from my iPhone...

Mc Kess anti frost washer fluid.

Re: Mc Kees anti frost washer fluid. It’s great stuff. Last year I added to to regular washer fluid and it did great here in NC. I’m actually amazed it works so well. If you find frost on your window one morning you just haven’t used the washer fluid in a couple days. Use it the next night...

Looking for a carwash soap that DOESN'T have wax in it, sell me on YOUR favorite!

I don’t know why. But I keep buying other soaps to try and I always seem to go back to Duragloss 901. Sent from my iPhone using AGOnline

Sonax BSD and Turle Wax Ice Seal and Shine Removal?

I have found that a Flairosol spray bottle helps with the application of Sonax BSD. Can’t speak for the TW. It puts on a nice easy mist of BSD. I use any 300/350gsm to buff in. But for the final wipe I have found that the dirt cheap microfiber towels for the final wipe seem to work really...

Did I wet sand through my clear coat?

It’s a tough lesson to learn. But I have done it. Look at it this way. You now know what not to do. Wet sanding is one of those finicky things due to the varying hardness and thickness of today’s paints. Sent from my iPhone using AGOnline

Need help removing unknown residue all over windows-Please

Looks to be water spotting. Can be tough to get off glass. But I will let the pro’s answer this one to give you the best course of action. In my experience I have had good luck with compounding with Duragloss Nu glass. And have used 3D Eraser with success. Sent from my iPhone using...

Drying aid mixture - Wolfgang Uber - SONAX BSD

I have tried mixing BSD with everything. Yeah I know that makes Bob cringe. But I have found that simple is sometimes better. As a drying aide is use BSD 1:1 with distilled water. Thins it out so it is easy to work with and doesn’t diminish the BSD performance. A guy in Germany tried...

Sometimes it’s not about being perfect.

You may be right. But on a car that has the beginning of CCF using Cancoat or another product can make it look better, much less noticeable, and may slow the degradation. There were a lot of other little spots that had the beginnings of failure. Circled here is a spot that the clear was...

    Caked on brake dust removal

Any of the good wheel cleaners should help. I have always found that the brush you use makes all the difference. I love my Speedmaster wheel brushes. They give the perfect amount of abrasion to remove most of the brake dust without scratching the rims. Sent from my iPhone using AGOnline
