BUMP on this semi old thread....I'm really wanting to try this to cut A LOT of time off my wash and wax jobs, which is the majority of jobs I get, but I don't want to be marring anyone's paint. Everyone's car that I've worked on thus far, has never been clayed before coming to me....granted...

go to Walmart and pick up a bottle of Meguiars wash n wax anywhere.... then go to the coin op and pressure rinse the heavy stuff and then do a waterless wash with the Meg's stuff and ur MF towels

I own a Volkswagen CC and can tell u from personal experience that the paint is HARD....polish and a white pad won't do a whole lot depending on the current state of the paint and ur desired end results p.s. I should also mention depending on what machine ur using, there are some curvy parts...

a little off topic here, but what about just using essence as a stand alone AIO.... I'm wondering if the coating that it leaves behind is worthy of a LSP by itself

Nice, San Diego/MFT is a lot closer to me then TRC so I'm sure shipping would be super fast....I'm definitely ordering from them next time. Yea the white isn't my first choice on towel color, but since they'll only be touching clean paint I don't see it being a big problem....they're definitely...

Yea they seem to be a great all around towel....I actually prefer smaller 16x16 towels....I personally find them easier to work with and wring out

Ur lucky u can get them local!! I also ordered a 5 pack of those 800gsm Everest towels!!!....they look soo nice....I wasn't even thinking of using them for drying but I may have to try it....I was just gonna use them for my final spray wax wipedown

I haven't really seen anything mentioned on Essence as a stand alone....I know most won't use it for that, and it wouldn't last as long as a regular coating but I think it still could be nice to use as a in betweener for something better then a normal sealant but without going full blown coating
