can anyone recommend a good detailer in the dallas area?

personally like the wolfgand 3.0 series from swirl remover to finishing polish to sealant. am considering switching to blackfire sealant because it doesn't have to dry then wipe off

sea sponge does a great job also; am wondering if boars hair brushes are good, do they scratch paint easily

anyone have any experience with boars hair vs sea sponges? does boar hair tend to leave light scrathes, and is it easy to rinse using 2 bucket method

don't think its necessary to wash after claying, just wipe off with mf towels

are there any smaller backing plates adaptable for the flex so can use 3 or 4 inch pads?

have read complaints that the resin gets algae and or mold if not used routinely, also problems with glue not holding around filters with this system; sounds like an easy way to avoid towel drying, but also expensive if have these problemsFeed back please

is clay bought at most autozone or pep boys good (meguiars , for example); also is it recommended to use alcohol to remove residue from claying? any suggestions for a better sealant than wolfgang 3.0 ? its so easy to remove

i bought a porter da, which seems to bog down when polishing. wish had purchased the flex.

has anyone ordered the sheepskin seat covers on this site? wondering if they fit very well, and how do they last after several washings?

most recommend the 2 bucket method for ONR. do u need to use a grit guard in the soap bucket also, and how does this work without adding new swirls when u remove the existing dirt with a mf towel?

like urself, im a novice at this as well, and have used the 5.5 ccs pads. which seem to work better, although am somewhat disappointed with the porter cable, and am wanting to get the flex next spring. the porter seems to bog down too easily.

nice car, u wont regret applying the clear bra, ive got a is250 with the bra, and it is definitely worth every penny. also, sorry, but its been hovering around 80 here lately, so just applied another coat of wg sealant for the winter here in dallas, which isnt too bad.

i personally think the pc does an adequate job, but it seems to bog down when using only slight pressure, hence it takes longer. so im planning to go with the flex after doing our 3 cars.

am considering the flex, im in mesquite. have u had a chance to try it yet? ive got the pc, but it bogs down easily.
