Would like clarification as well. It's my understanding to be careful or avoid going to the edges or raised sections because of thinner material. Do you guys just hand polish near edges and raised areas?

Would it be harmful if I don't rinse if off with a stream of water? I know it doesn't need to be rinsed off when used for the interior (leather/vinyl), but for wheels and tires, it says to rinse off. Would using water in a spray bottle be enough as far as rinsing off wheels and tires? Thanks.

I know meguiars have a hook and loop foam interface pad for their 3" sanding discs and I guess it attaches to any 3" backing plate.
