How can you tell what kind of metal exhaust tips are made of?

DP Cleanse-All to clean, followed by a metal polish, 000 & 0000 wool? I have some of the Menzerna Polishing Cream which is for fine polishing, but what polish would be appropriate for stronger cleaning duty? It's for the exhaust tip on my aunt's car. Not sure what kind of metal it is.

While I think Dodge did a better job of holding true to the retro look of the Challenger, I think GM did a nice job of recreating the look of the '69 with a more modern touch.

I think they're working on a new platform that will reduce the overall weight. However that's not going to be in time for the ZL-1s.
