What is the average life expectancy of foam buffing pads. I have many LC and Hex Logic pads. I wash w APC, spin dry (w buffer) and let dry upside down always after each use. They don't seem to be losing effectiveness but I've had some of these pads for years... like 6-7. Thanks.

I would stick with WDGPS or Collinite 845. MP may a good case against using coatings. If you have any kind of daily driver schedule/drive it in rain, you will have road grime which will bond to your coating and need to be buffed out in a year at most, thereby negating the 2-3 yr. protection of...

I remember something Mike said about sealant on sealant not having the best bonding... maybe I'm mistaken. I seem to remember wax can go on top of sealant but sealants not good to top either a sealant or a wax.... like I said maybe I'm wrong. Would be interested to hear from others.

I have these and have used for a whole lot of washes. They hold up and don't put swirls in.

My goto for adding durability to a 1 step is still Collinite 845. On HD Speed it adds approximately 6 months protection IN MY OPINION. It's very ez to put on and take off.

Googled it plenty and read plenty... until I'm numb almost. I have no doubt it's airborne for a short while but nothing definitive that I've seen yet in writing from reputable sources.
