1967 Starline Deville - Extreme Makeover

I would like to see a Menzerna trial somewhere. You pick the poison as there are a bunch to pick from. Some heavy cutters to fine finishers. I have been just starting to use Menzerna. One thing I notice that it takes very little polish to work and it works for a long time before it starts...

    Giveaway-Hydro Pads- 105 & 205

Would love to try this combination out. Just got a New 5" LC Backing plate for my PC from AG. I have been trying out the 5.5 " LC CCS pad set I just purchased. Been reading so much about these new pads and Meg #105 and #205. I think that would be a neat review for myself. Love trying new...

What is this and how to stop it!?!?

If you look at the Meguiars link Dalton left you above. The pigmented coat is still there on all these pictures. The picture you posted of your car lookslike the pigmented coat has peeled away. If that is so, It's paint failure. When you have clearcoat failure, most of the time the damage...

What is this and how to stop it!?!?

That looks like paint failure to me. It looks like the pigmented coat has failed down to the primer. Ford had this issue with a metallic gray years ago. That was why I asked what kind of car it was. I think the whole car might have to be painted. If that is paint failure. It will likely...

Bissell Little Green Machine (from a skeptic)

I actually own a LGM that I have had for 10 years or better. I have used it many time on auto carpet it it does a fairly decent job. It can surprise you that it does as good as it does. Like you, I cannot justify spending the 700 or so for a professional machine for my own personal cars and...

What is this on this wheel?

Looks like the problem is only where the wheel weights are mounted. Myabe the wheel weights are causing a coating failure. The are a few pics where there are no weights. Thought the weights may have been there from a previous set of tires.

    7424XP included pad uses?

Use it to buff inside of truck lid or underside of hood. I use a spot buff pad mounted to drill.

    Diaper wipedown?

Old School is correct. Years ago, before the introduction of microfiber, we used baby diapers as they were much softer than terry cloth. I will stick with the microfibers for wiping the paint.
