I don't think i removed it all. You can wipe a little UK across the spot if it breads up you still have UK if not its removed. Don't know if thats right but thats how I did it.
The only problem I have had is a few high spots. I don't have the best lighting in my garage and its hard to see them. I am doubling down on my final wipe and have been talking to Richard Lin and Corey at Carpro USA about ideas to upgrade my lighting and I am getting my eyes checked! A little...
Maybe the people at nanopool.eu/en can answer your technical and testing questions. I believe they owned the first patent on a sio2 coating and should be the experts.
For a stand alone product I reapply when it needs it or every 3 to 4 months.

I would email or call Corey at carpro us. He is an awesome guy and knows the products inside and out. I am sure he can get your problem sorted out in no time.
Good luck.
505 is made to be used on hard surfaces. You cant use 505 on chrome or aluminum. So i am going to say keep it away from paint and from reading the warnings keep it away from your skin, eyes and wear a mask.
The purple power I have is not paint safe.
I wish you a very speedy recovery. If you get bored watching all the seasons of the X-files is a great time killer. Or the Patrick Magohan series The Prisoner (except the last episode). If you need a good laugh "Arrested Development" and "Titus" are good.
