Reload Looks Greasy

{OK...your turn again. :)}

Conversely...I think that:
Without the use of approved ASTM testing protocols...
"testing-phases" by individuals are, at best, subjective.
Even more so when I read about:
"free product testing reviews".

-So why would I enthusiastically buy any product where the questions regarding its "characteristics" cannot be scientifically explained as to be true, or not, to my satisfaction.

-I, for one, don't pose questions just to be doing so.
Science...IMHO...should not be treated as if it is some
four-letter-word!

Maybe the people at nanopool.eu/en can answer your technical and testing questions. I believe they owned the first patent on a sio2 coating and should be the experts.

For a stand alone product I reapply when it needs it or every 3 to 4 months.

On top of UK every 3 to 4 months.

Detaling is a stress reliver for me and I stayed away from coatings because I wouldn't have as much work to do on the car to keep me busy. So I was attracted to the Cquartz UK and reload combo. So anytime I have the urge to do somthing I can wash the car and apply reload.

Ok great! Thank you for the info - that reaffirms everything I have read and heard. I'm with you - I like to do it since it is relaxing. Like you, that is why I have never got into coatings before. Glad to hear you make that post since that means I made the right choice :D

The only problem I have had is a few high spots. I don't have the best lighting in my garage and its hard to see them. I am doubling down on my final wipe and have been talking to Richard Lin and Corey at Carpro USA about ideas to upgrade my lighting and I am getting my eyes checked! A little Reflect and light hand polishing fixed the high spots.

Also I am going to do 2 layers UK on the next vehicle.

Good info! I have recently upgraded my lighting in the garage to 4 fixtures of 3 t8's each. hopefully I'll be able to see the high spots!

Where you used Reflect to push them down some - did that remove CQUK all together?

And I am going to 2 layer as well. Corey said it makes it more durable.

I don't think i removed it all. You can wipe a little UK across the spot if it breads up you still have UK if not its removed. Don't know if thats right but thats how I did it.

ok cool thanks for the info!

If i were to quote some of these posts it would be several pages long..

Not sure why you'd want to dilute Reload. It is supposed to be used just like that. I wouldn't call it greasy, but more like slick. Reminds me of Dodo Juice spray detailers.

As far as CQUK goes, the number of times i applied it, i never had any issues with removing excess product and applying Reload about an hour later enchances the shine.

My last vehicle which received the CQUK and Reload application was a white pearl color, once taken out in the sun you could not ever look at the car is was so glossy!
