might have actually lost it this time

Had a similar moment when I was caught cleaning the tub with buffer scrub brush then got a look of deep concern when I told everyone to not touch the counter, klasse is still curing.

Rinseless Washing Question - How Wet Are Your Towels?

I've started to keep a little more juice in my towels. (Shameless IUDJ plug) I feel that it helps lubricate more. I like to feel a nice even glide when going over the paint.

    Client Complaining Windows Weren't Cleaned

Word... I hate the things. Best advice I can offer is to do them last after you dress / clean inside. Use one towel with cleaner and another to buff off. This can go up to 4-6 towels to ensure no streaking at times. If a customer wants x ray vision glass, they're paying for claying or...

    Been a while.. Pad suggestions

I'm really wanting to like the hydro-tech pads from LC because the amount of pad colors is getting out of hand. Megs discs, LC Hydro-Tech if I had to buy them again.

    LC Foam Pads

I use multiple pads per car. I use the stiff orange handled nylon brush AG sells every couple sections. If you keep the pad clean, you will buff more effectively and greatly reduce dust. As far as how many pads you'll use, it depends on the car condition. If someone wants 100% correction, its...

    New Detail Rig

I'm fighting with that convenience myself. I'm just worried about theft. If I did a bed setup, I could put a cap on. With a trailer, I'm just worried I'd have issues setting up around parking lots, etc.

Cool. I have a Prerunner SR5 2.7L myself. It's grey though ;) I've been fighting with if I want to do a trailer or have a bed setup.

    More forced-rotation DA options...

I remember Todd @ Rupes said during class that the forced rotation DA model was their original design but they moved on to the large throw DA. Also, there is only so much space in the market to manufacture and sell well built, expensive, purpose built car buffers. Car detailing is a very small...

    LC Foam Pads

I like them as well. I put the 5" pads on per Mike's book and it just destroys defects.

    LC Foam Pads

As long as you keep them clean, a good while. My hybrid LC white pads also stain with Menzerna fp4000. This was with a grit guard pad washer and a soak in DP pad cleaner. It is 95% clean but you can still see some discoloration.

Review:Meguiar's Detailer's Line All Season Dressing

That was my initial impression. It does require a wipe after application but the look is just great. For the cost and how far it goes, I'll use it.

Review:Meguiar's Detailer's Line All Season Dressing

Update I washed the truck today. I underestimated just how much dressing was on the tires. After cleaning excess off, a nice deep matte look is visible.

    Meguiars APC vs Simple Green

Meguiars is aimed towards the auto crowd. The detergents, cleaning agents, etc. are more or less chosen with that in mind. Simple Green has been known to discolor and is really I think meant more for home / office use. Floors, counters, sinks, etc. That said, I started out using Simple Green...
