If I'm short on a specific color/size pad... after washing, I squeeze them out in a towel then spin them on my rotary to dry. That's about all I use my Dewalt rotary for unless I'm doing a cut & buff on fresh paint.

I like using Prima Amigo Pre-Wax Cleanser before a fresh wax. It's also a glaze that can actually remove OR fill those light swirls/scratches between corrections. You can apply by hand but a DA is quicker, I usually use my rotary with a gold jeweling pad at about 600 RPM's and it's squeaky clean...
