I used to but the early morning humidity sticks more on the glass when I spray wax (optimum car wax / D-156). Raw clean glass works better for me YMMV.

I like paste waxing my bartop then an occasional spritz of spray wax keeps the beer cans/mugs sliding like ice :)

Yeah get the 5" but that 6" plate pad combo is great for larger vehicles like pickup trucks suv's etc. with large flat panels.

If you have only the best quality microfiber towels for removing polishes and waxes, you'll need some lesser quality towels to use for things you'd never touch using your best towels. Door, hood, and deck lid jambs, wheels etc. This way you won't be tempted to use your best stuff for the dirtier...
