If you fully break down the polish why would not using a rotary cause the polish have durable fillers? Results may be different but I don't see how the chemical makeup would change. Any links to support this? genuinely interested

The longest would probably be Tuf Shine tire coating. But if your looking at dressings probably Ultima trim and tire guard.

Perl is great on tires and in the interior. However, in my experience it runs off trim in the rain. Overall its a very versatile product.

I forgot about the bottle of Autofinesse Spritz I leave in my car for routine dash cleaning. Frozen solid :doh:

Stoner Tarminator and Autofinesse Oblitarate are the only two I have used. Both are outstanding.

Very strange, Ive used the exact same steamer on my girlfriends 2002 Grand Cherokee a few times and never experienced any issues. Glad you got it cleaned up.

Art, Correct me if i'm wrong, the labels say "body shop" and that they don't contain silicone. Wouldn't that make it safe to use?

Pretty much any quick detailer or waterless wash will work.

Lately its gotta be Sonax for me.

I find perl to be a fabulous overall product (love it on tires). However, in my experience trim isn't the best surface for it. I've found that it runs off trim in the rain leaving an oily residue on the paint.

Having worked in a body shop when I was younger, I notice it all the time.

For some reason it doesn't come up very often. I noticed the issue after doing an ONR QD wipe down. Googled it to see if anyone else had experienced this, and found out that its a pretty well documented issue...

Just a heads up, in my experience ONR seriously degrades 845. They really don't play well together.

Although it would surely be a good idea, I would guess putting that on the label is primarily to protect themselves from lawsuits
