I know you didn't care for microfiber pads for the 3401 but it sounds like you've found the right pad for your 3401. I want to buy some but I have a ton of 5.5" LC flats to use up first.

Do you bend it a lot? The metal will only bend so many times before it breaks.

I'm very happy with it. I applied it to my Thunderbird back in September. I drove the car all winter and it's still working fairly well although it could use a new coating.

Mecum has an auction down in Houston this weekend (on Velocity channel). Personally I prefer them over Barrett-Jackson. Over the years, Barrett has become more about their "brand" than the cars IMO. They now have insurance, car care products and even their own sandpaper!
