I recently sold my flex and have a few Hybrids left over. Has anyone been using them with a pc or GG? How are the results? Trying to decide if I should sell them or if I can get good results with them with my GG.
Thanks

I just ordered a custom 4" backing plate from another vendor. I think the 5" pads will ROCK with a DA style polisher. I will be trying them this weekend with my HD DA polisher. You could probably get away with a 3.5" backing plate that most vendors sell, but a 4" would be better.

I can now use the hybrid pads on my HD DA polisher or Flex 3401!

I know you didn't care for microfiber pads for the 3401 but it sounds like you've found the right pad for your 3401.

I want to buy some but I have a ton of 5.5" LC flats to use up first.

Haven't used them yet. Keeping my fingers crossed. I like all the positive feedback, though. That's why I ordered them. :dblthumb2:

Tried the 5" hybrid pads with 3401. They're a little smoother, nothing earth shattering. In a nutshell, I just don't like the mechanical action of the 3401. It doesn't feel right. A random orbital feels much better in my hands. I've exhausted all options for the 3401. It will be laid to rest. FWIW, the 5" hybrid pads worked great on my HD polisher with a custom 4" backing plate. :dblthumb2:
