Ever wonder what the space shuttle rocket boosters saw?

I thought it was like, what kind of LSP they saw. I was waiting for there to be vid of someone using a DA to apply Collinite on the sheet metal of the rockets.

    Tar removal

Think about what you said, US roads have milder tar...UK roads have hardcore tar that would be washed away if they had that mild style of tar...yet US roads aren't washed away with our milder puny tar. Hmmmmmm.... :surrender: OP...I'm sorry for suggesting the coating for your...

    Tar removal

Man, I had no idea Auto Geek had that stuff. They have so many things hidden in different departments. That's a serious looking tool (well, for plastic).

Rinseless wash vs two bucket method

If you are able to you could rinse the car off before going through the rinsless process for a little added safety. If you don't like going through microfiber usage, then do some searching on here regarding grout sponges. I was going through mf cloths like crazy, and read about grout...

That was huge glob of tar!! Where'd you pick that up? Anyway, that's why I love coatings, I can't believe how easily chud rinses or washes off so easily.

    Tar removal

OR you coat your car and then tar just washes off when you make your pass with your sponge or brush...but what do I know...soaking a cloth and spending time rubbing on your car with a product that will remove your LSP sounds like way more fun so I'd definitely go that route. :dblthumb2:

Your vinyl cabinet door is open and unlocked in the background. Waffle foam won't help with that. I'll tell you that right now.

    Revisiting Squeegees

Building a house right now...not in stars to afford that. You use this system? Is it worth it? Does it make drying go that much faster?

    Revisiting Squeegees

Yeah, not everyone has access to deionized water. It would be nice though!

    Revisiting Squeegees

I don't know why but drying takes me FOREVER...and I do mean dry enough to apply an LSP...I'm not talking about just wiping the vehicle dry....I'm also talking about no surprise drips that ruin your applicator as you going over a panel (so door jams and all). I usually use a metro, followed by...

    Revisiting Squeegees

Totally agree. Its amazing how dirty a towel can be from drying a clean vehicle...The only thing I would say is that the use of the RW or WW lifts and lubes enough to stop that nasty little trait...or I'm hoping...It seemed to work really well, but my vehicle is coated.

    Revisiting Squeegees

I loved how well the silicone water squeegees worked (I found even faster than blowers...even my metro), but hadn't used them for fear of marring. When considering how the claying process is accomplished and how it is significantly harsher it is on paint, I considered using a high lube rr/ww...

    best wAX OR SEALANT

Duragloss topped with Collinite and you've got 20 years of protection, and it will cure acne. All kidding aside...I started with Klasse, and after having to ban my DD from the road for three days straight and fighting with buffing issues, I switched to duragloss and got more protection than...

A few questions for a detailing newbie.

Are there really people that only wash with water? Not even a RW or WW...For real? :dunno:
