I do not own a Rupes but in the light of power and versatility I feel the PE -8 is a more complete tool to me for less money . were you looking at the unit for your car , do you have other cars you will be using it on ?

the machine is easy to use. just keep it moving and you will be fine. keep the speed and pressure down. if somebody in your area has one you could try it out first . to get the machine down start with a black pad and light polish to get the feel for it . if you have a da you can also get the...

The machine with the smaller pads is great when working in very tight areas. I only use it to remove, swirls, water spots, scratches etc.... it is nice with a light polish to jewel the paint in limited space. where it shines for me was getting close up against some trim , raised panels or door...

what will you be using the machine and smaller pads for ? for serious correction in tight areas I prefer the PE-8. the machine is smooth and easy to learn. great for headlights and hard to reach areas , if you are doing that kind of work.

Setec, I lifted the sprayer and tube out of the bottle last night and found out what the issue was. in the opening of bottom of the tube there was a solid piece of material stuck in the tube. tapped the bottom of the tube with my finger and the light orange color particle fell into the sink...

I would just wash the car and use a paint sealant on the film. stay away from abrasive products. have had good luck with wgdps 3.0 as a sealant on ppf. could be a nice alternative, if you want to try something different in the future. being the product you bought is made for ppf it should work...
