Wax Pad with Finishing Glaze?

Hi everyone,

I have very light swirls on my new car after I detailed it. I have soft paint and put them in after waterless wash.

I have wolfgang swirl remover and finishing glaze. I know you need to do least aggressive method, so does it make sense to start with finishing glaze and the wax pad that has no leveling ability? Or is that going to be a bad result and I should jump to polishing pad (medium) right away?

Trying to extend life of the paint and minimize wear from my polishing via porter cable.

I tend to start with my test spot with a black pad and work up in aggressiveness from there.

Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. Worst case scenario is I have 1 more pad to clean.

The finishing glaze may help with the wax pad. If you use a slow speed on the Dual Action it may remove some of the swirls. This us known as jeweling and is used as a final correction step. I would suggest a test spot and see what happens.

this can work for you . like other said your thinking is sound. start with least aggressive pad first.

Does Klasse AIO with a Finishing (waxing) pad remove swirls at all? Just curious on experience. Will try it also.
