Using a drill it is similar to using a roatory buffer. If its used incorrectly it will cause swirls. With that said I would slow it down and use a polish to remove the swirls. I have also had a lot of success using meguiars plastic polish. Hope this helps.

I use meguiars light cut, followed by a polish then sealent. I have done this to hundreds of cars :)

I use optimum rinse less carwash as a detail spray and clay lube. I usally add more product then it states just to be on the safe side. I have been using it for over a year with no issues.

Really??? I have used a lot of their products that does not work as good as they say it does. For example fabric guard.... They say less is more yet tou need to use a ton of their product to get it to work as it does in their video. I can go on and on about a ton of their watered down products.

On some of their stuff anyway.

Correct me if I am wrong but according to my research carnuba works as a protectant. It does nothing to add shine to your paint??? Allegedly it's the oils added to the carnuba that creates a deep wet look shine. If thats true then why is carnuba being added to a polimer sealant?

Ok, if I take my car to a detailer for some paint correction. How will they know how agressive they can be without taking the clear coat down to far? For example you generally do not want to remove more than 25% of your clear coat over the life time of the car. Otherwise you risk clear coat...

How do you know if the opti-coat is still on your vehicle? With wax you would just rub your finger on the paint to see if you still have a barrier. Is it the same with opti-coat?
