    Washing microfiber

This will also clear any sort of bleach, softener, or other wash agents you might use. MY GF loves to add these fragrance dots to the towels, takes a good hot wash to clear that stuff out. Just pour it into the soap bin. I have the same thing, Top loader.Sometimes if really dirty or a heavy load...

    2014 Detail Fest Date = March 15th & 16th

It's not as close for us, about 3 hours drive. So some more details would be great for first timers. 1: Whats the best way to clean up the car after the ride down there. I see something about a wash bay but I am sure there will be a long line. 2: If you paid for the registration, how does that...

    Washing microfiber

I have two husky's that never stop shedding. But I have had no issues in the laundry. Do yourself a favor, run the washer empty first if your concerned. Then do the same in the dryer for a few. Clean the dryer trap real well. I always inspect the towels for any form a foreign material first...

Feedback on those who have tried Pinnacle Black Label Diamond Surface Coating

Actually I had off yesterday and decided to try the Surface and glass coating. My Xpel PPF needed something on it so I first cleaned the car, then the hood. I used a cleaner from XPEL basically it smelled like and acted like IPA. It flashed real fast and left the film smooth but with no slick...

This is what a brand new car SHOULD look like when you pick it up from a dealer:

Sweet ride. Enjoy. Next car I get I will be taking this advice seriously. If it wasn't for Mike and AG I would be driving a rolling swirl. I really truely understand now what they can do. And for those that go to the dealer , NEVER EVER LET THEM WASH IT. I have my own signs in the glove box...

Tip for Iron X users - Rinse well to avoid molding drip

Mike, Seriously newb question here, but I keep expanding my understanding. Where is this iron coming from, other vehicles, nature, just airborne pollution? I can remember when I was younger seeing a certain chemical company plant near my home and it was always a shade of red and everything...

Midworst car care is it worth it?

So I grew up in the North east, cold winters, hot summers, rude people, road salt, pot holes, slag on the back roads.... Moved to Florida - Mild winters, hot summers with rain every day, rude people that also moved from the north east, bugs the size of a hawk, something called "love bugs" twice...

Clean up fire extinguisher residue from car paint and interior surfaces

One bit of advice I found on a boat engine fire. Buy a cheap shop vac that is disposable. As the comments above state, this stuff eats everything. Wear PPE, Face mask, eye protection, and ear plugs. If a cloud builds up - move away and let it settle. As for the shop vac, you will not get this...

My first real attempt at correction

So, I was out of town and my GF wanted to get something from the car. She lifted the cover and the tie down grommet left a scratch/mar on the roof. I talked to Mike Phillips about the issue, he gave me a few suggestions and I dove in. I started out with a good wash, then clay and of course the...

AG... I'm sorry but this relationship isn't working... It's all your fault!

So I'm not sure when it started, but it seems like we are at a bypass.. I was getting ready to wash the car today.. Have most of my stuff out and I am standing there thinking.."am I missing anything?"... So out walks the Girlfriend and she says "do you really need all that stuff just to wash...
