Matthew 5:30..... And if your right hand causes you to stumble, cut it off.

It is going to be a pain to do all your detailing with one hand!! (unless you went twice) ROFL!

I know your not doing that to the BMW....

Only positive I can see to your sin is that you could potentially write it off as "research" LOL!

What with all the salt that has been laid down on our roads and streets, I too have been tempted to drive into a self service bay and just do a quick rinse.

But with a short warm up last Saturday, was able to do a ONR and wipe the car down before the temperature dropped back down below freezing.

The winter isn't over yet. Got more snow showing up again tomorrow.

There is no shame in that as long as it's touchless!

In your part of the country, this time of year, with the winter we're having, it's really the only viable choice for heavy salt removal.

I'd love to hand wash my cars, but it's been too cold and even on a warm-ish day, my hoses are still frozen. A touchless is my only recourse.

Went through one of those last weekend after the snow was gone. I was very disappointed how dirty it left the car. Just a glorified rinse IMO.

Its been so cold here in the Burgh the local Touchless has been closed, So I guess I have been saved by the frigid temps. But I admit I have done the touchless just to get the undercarriage cleaned and the salt off so the wife can not complain when she brushes against it in the garage.

Pathfinder. Don't worry - it snowed another 6" last night. Wash was a waste.

I guess we got lucky here with just 1 inch last night. I'm tired of snow now. My lower back just now stopped hurting so bad from shoveling and running the snow blower. I hope that's not a sign of more snow coming...

Fun thread...

Don't feel so bad, i also gave in on Saturday. i did go to a touchless wash however so there were no brushes that touched the car, or employee's! I did not let them dry it, instead i sped off.

The first step is to admitting you have a problem.

Want to find a meeting?
Some of us have been there. :grouphug:
