need tips on being lazy (foam gun?)

I would go for a pressure washer & foam cannon setup. Will remove all dust, leaves, etc & you can use it as a pre-soak when you do your proper wash... Have one & love it

Not your ordinary "Favorite Wash Shampoo" thread

In Australia so some of what you guys find at your local store is hard to access here. Bought some Ultima paint guard wash from AG & LOVE IT! Best shampoo I've used, hands down. Hoping Old Tiger convinces AG to start carrying the gallon size...

    foam bath, without foam gun.

If you are going to use a spray bottle sort of thing I have two suggestions. Either a foaming sprayer head (like the Griots one here at AG) or one of those pump-up weed sprayers with a hose & wand. Weed sprayer won't foam as much but will be a LOT easier on the hands... Neither will be quite...

    CarPro CQuartz DLux Review

Looks good Bobby... What other products have you used that you'll be comparing it to? I see PERL & Wolfgang vinyl & rubber protectant. Anything else? UTTG for instance?

Just got these, how to protect them?

Those wheels will look porn on your E30! After something similar for my E34 540i... Would definitely be looking into a semi-permanent coating like Opti-coat &, if you haven't already, good quality aftermarket brake pads that will reduce dust in the first place. Most have just a little less...

    Hard to reach areas...

Another option is buying 3" pads. You can use these by machine in some places & by hand in the really tricky areas. Multi-purpose & around the same price as the hand pads...

    finish kare

I haven't tried either of these but have the FK kit on its way to me. This is for my own car & possibly close friends & family, so time spent, etc isn't an issue... It would seem to me from product descriptions & reviews, etc that the FK system is designed to remove a broader range of...

Thanks to everyone who replied & an especially huge thank you to Mike for going out of your way to get some info & also to Roger Dyer from 303 for such great customer service. :dblthumb2: Bob, good idea, I will have a play around with some samples of different materials, getting them dirty with...

303 HTFG not working for me at all... (long post)

Thanks for your answer Bob. I agree that protection from staining & soiling is far better than pure water repellency however almost every review has mentioned the incredible beading or how a drink was spilt & sat on the fabric without soaking in until it could be cleaned up. I literally cannot...

303 HTFG not working for me at all... (long post)

Well, glad to hear I'm not the only one! Did it just not work as well as you expected or did it not work at all? I plan on giving it another shot but figured before wasting time & product I would ask around... Sent from my GT-I9100 using AG Online

303 HTFG not working for me at all... (long post)

I recently got hold of some 303 high-tech fabric guard & tried it our for the first time the other day on a carpet floor mat (just as a trial) & after allowing it to dry/cure, etc it has made no difference. I'm after some opinions on why & advice on using this product as after reading reviews it...

    Updated My Website- Need Feedback

Just a few typos from your site. I have copy/pasted sentences & highlighted mistakes (in my opinion) They will then move to a glaze that will cover up all the the imperfections the heavy compound and rotary created. wore out leather or seats (should be worn) it can cause very micro swirls-...

Under vehicle flush tool for the Karcher K pressure washers

Great idea although my car (& some others I'm sure) would be too low for this to get under. You can also get a lance with 90degree nozzle + lance extension kit to do the same thing but would obviously be a little more effort... If you have the ground clearance this would be fantastic though

    How many Different Pads?

I went for the LC hydrotech "series" of pads. Only 3 colours/varieties which cover all your needs. Cutting, polishing & finishing/wax, etc
