I'd hit it with the D300 and see how it finishes out. If you have the MF system I've found that a lot of times the D300 finishes LSP ready. If it doesn't finish out the way you want it, follow up with the M205 and then top it with whatever LSP you wish. The glaze will help hide any defects...

I used the syringe and the applicator that came in the kit. I primed the pad with an X, then a few drops per panel. I applied in long strokes, all in one direction, then followed with it in the other direction. Let flash for approx 5 minutes and then removed the high spots.

Opti-coat can swirl and scratch similar to your standard clear coat. But it's definitely more scratch resistant than the Mazda clear. I haven't seen the vehicle since the opti-coat was applied. Part of the reasoning for the opti-coat was the customer doesn't maintain his vehicles very well. So...

Good to know next time I need to polish in the sun. Right now I'm more concerned with just waxing. I get more boats that just want a coat of wax put on (even though some really need to be polished). M105 definitely would be a real pain to work with in the sun. I wouldn't even bother trying.
