    Very careful with 3M. Any over spray on plastic parts will strip off its paint/dye.

    I went with Krylon fusion and turned out nicely. I tried it both on those inserts and vent plastic grill. I did make little mistakes like bubble etc (wrong temperature?) but managed to get that out using acetone and re-apply again. Thanks mrnextel! Next, will apply some Carpro DLUX

    Dave, I can't polish those vent cavity unless I get Rupes iBrid (hmm...) or something. dye or plastic paint are my two options. I washed them today. no change in color. so looks like permanently stained?
