    AG Order Processing Heads up

It's part of doing business via mail order. You have to allow for mishaps or delays in shipping (including processing). Most people buy via mail order because of cheaper pricing, no tax, and more variety. The trade-off is possible delays. Plan for it and you'll sleep better. If it's that...

    Not crazy about 6.5" pads

The Flex is a forced rotation so I would think the larger pad would offer more correction since the outer edge of the pad will be orbiting faster than the outer edge of a smaller pad.

1 of the 44 BMW SPORTS – PERFORMANCE EDITION

Nice job and it's a diesel! My mom's Golf diesel was giving her 48mpg HWY back in 1990. Great car.

If I recall correctly, AG used to carry these.

Just bought a New Hitachi SP18VA buffer

A great buffer for the money. It probably should be on the under rated thread.

Did a little bumper repair in my new shop.

Impressive. The prep is the hardest part, right?

    Senna

What a great documentary, I just finished watching it. It was really interesting to see the impact that politics and technology played during that era. Similar to cycling of that era Lemond (outsider) overtaking Hinault (incumbent). Also similar to MotoGP in recent years with traction control...

Is pad conditioner really necessary ?

I've seen they guys on Megs Online use #34 Final Inspection to prime pads. Can one assume pad conditioner and detail sprays are interchangeable? If I run out of detail spray can I use a pad conditioner spray in its place and vice versa?

    Best bang for buck Clay?

I agree, Pinnacle Ultra Poly is a great one. I also like the Mothers kit when on sale. I think the Pinnacle is milder or finer so you can use it more frequent than Mothers. The Mothers kit includes an instant detailer and microfiber cloth for around $18. I really like both.

    The most over-rated products?

I'm still debating this myself. I've liked using Sonax on some cars and on others it seems like overkill. I find myself really liking OPC for the rims and tires.

    Bicycle Protection?

If you're going to pull the bike apart, you can spray the inside of the tubes with a special sealant like Frame Saver and move the frame around until it's all coated inside. Some people use motor fogging oil spray or boiled linseed oil. I'm sure the clear film will help prevent small chips...

Newbie Project - Detailing Black 07 Land Rover LR3

I think you're almost set. I noticed you have Scratch X. If you have version 2.0 then I think you can use that as your compound and then followup with Meguiars Ultimate Polish (I noticed you didn't have this). Two useful charts: Aggressiveness Order for New Consumer Products - This will...

    Selling my C6 Z06...

What a great car, I thought about getting one myself. The silver will definitely be less maintenance. Congrats and good luck with it Mark.

    Bicycle Protection?

I forgot to mention, bike fit is the most important factor. Get yourself measured and then have someone help you choose the right bike and gear ratios. If the bike fits well and if it's taylored to your riding, you'll get more out of it. Most riders don't benefit from the weight savings of...

    Bicycle Protection?

I've beaten the heck out of my 15 year old aluminum mountain bike and have no issues with oxidation other than some slight orange in some of the stainless steel allen screwheads (which comes off easily with a cotton swab). I store my bike indoors but I have left it outside on many summer nights...
