I don't think anyone from AGO will disagree with you. However, they did offer to buff it out.... and my guess is that the general public will find that a fair solution.

Firstly, I would ask the dealer to do some paint readings so that you would know how much paint you have to play with. Second, i highly doubt they will compensate you monetarily. I would ask for some accessories/parts or some warranty in return.

Re: Don't wash car !!!!!!!!!!! umm... I would have taken the loaner back and asked for another one. btw... I was at my dealer yesterday and I am proud to say that my car looked better than the one they had prepped for delivery :)

What is the opinion on cold air intakes? I read/saw somewhere that it really doesn't do much.

I think most AGO members know that sometime dealers cause damage. However if they do not inspect and prep a new car, how does one make sure they are covered for any damage that occurs from factory or during transport?

Damn... only thing ive done was pull the drl light fuse, mud guards and debadged. Curious to hear what others have done DIY. Next in line is the under body spoiler kit in spring.

Not too crazy about Chemical Guys N0 700 Intense Cut. Cut itself is pretty good but my experience with it was short working time and crazy amounts of dusting. Probably because I didn't use their pad conditioner as recommended.

As long as the pad is not excessively bigger than the bp, I tend to think it is ok. But you do have to make sure that the pad will not fly off the bp when in use.

My wife always gives me that wtf look whenever I wipe down my bumper and side view mirrors for bugs at a rest stop.

Rather than a QD... my vote goes for a waterless wash... of course unless your intend for the QD is for claying.

I just keep a spray bottle of ONR diluted at QD strength and the softest MF towel I own.
