Figured I'd start a thread for those of us that can't leave well enough alone and like to mess with their cars.

So today, my nice new aftermarket header showed up on my porch. I can't wait to get this on the car :xyxthumbs:

lol, Lift kit for mine so I can just run the fast cars over rather than beat them :P lol

Priced out aftermarket skids for mine along with rear shocks and front coil overs. Will probably be hitting the mods heavy next summer. Custom tunes, tires, and a few protection and appearance items are my main mods right now.

Damn... only thing ive done was pull the drl light fuse, mud guards and debadged.
Curious to hear what others have done DIY.

Next in line is the under body spoiler kit in spring.

Really wish I could justify spending $2k on shocks.

Car is my track and autocross baby. Trying to go full-prep for SCCA Autocross but the shocks are holding me back.

To comment at the OP - Trying to figure out if I want to install an X-Pipe. Threw these cans on a couple months ago:

On another note, installed 2500k 35W Halogen Fog lights on the 128

B&B Bullets and SLP Blackwing Air Filter are on my '03 z06. It runs like a bat outta hell! LT's and tune up next!

Wish I had a perf car to talk about mods but I will say that in the spring I will have Swift sport springs added to my CRZ and a stock Honda Fit GE8 intake manifold installed on my car. Even though the 2 cars share the same engine the manifolds are different and its because they (Honda) "thought" the CRZ needed a lower profile manifold, thus reducing perf. How much you might ask, well, 5 whp and 7 wft/lbs, hey, its a little bt when you have so very little, its a lot. I'll probably get more due to the fact I've already got a K&N typhoon.

Powaaa....not, LOL!

Pshhhhh Moe can spank and ABARTH any day. Im the MAN

I've been debating on getting some Eibach lowering springs.

That and some smoothie wheels.

Oh and louder woofer and upgrade my interior speakers. 300 watts is not enough :D

What is the opinion on cold air intakes?
I read/saw somewhere that it really doesn't do much.

In-Person BlackBear Tune on my Yukon with 6.2L

Black Bear Performance :: Custom Tuning Solutions for 96 and newer GM Vehicles

For a brick it is quick

Already installed Volant Cold Air Intake and MBRP Catback Exhaust

Was 403 horsepower. No idea now, but taking a lot of the torque management out was a huge improvement

Crushes most Hondas, etc

Crushes most Hondas, either by acceleration or simply driving over them, LOL! It would've been even funnier to do these mods to the hybrid version!

If you are not doing any supporting mods IMO its not worth the money. Now if you are doing full exhaust, tune ect. might as well throw a CAI in.

Eh..2 horsepower which would equal to .5 of wheel horsepower. It's really just for looks and sound.

Now when talking about Forced Induction cars, that is different and with a tune it will increase the power.

Had a S/C idler pulley fail the other week which caused to belt to fly off and destroy the other 2 idlers on my Buick Ultra. Jacked the motor, pulled the motor mount to thread the new belt through and replaced all the idler pulleys. Couldn't help but think about a smaller S/C drive pulley. Didn't do it yet but might when I pull the snout off the supercharger to replace the coupler inside. Should boost up a few more ponies.
